Abstract:
An improved motion compensated interpolation of images in video sequences, in particular, for use in up-conversion processing. In order to achieve a smooth object motion in the interpolated image sequence, separate image areas are processed differently if an image change occurs in the video sequence. While for one image area motion compensation is suspended, the other image area is subjected to motion compensated interpolation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an improved motion compensated interpolation of images in video sequences, in particular, for use in up-conversion processing. In order to achieve a smooth object motion in the interpolated image sequence, separate image areas are processed differently if an image change occurs in the video sequence. While for one image area motion compensation is suspended, the other image area is subjected to motion compensated interpolation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a motion compensated image processing taking local characteristics of the image data into account. Image data included into a single image may stem from different video sources. In order to take the specific motion phase into account, the motion compensation processing is switched accordingly such that an improved picture quality can be achieved.

Abstract:
Agents for lightening keratinic fibers include at least two preparations (A) and (B) packaged separately from one another, as well as optionally a further preparation (C) packaged separately from (A) and (B), which are mixed immediately before utilization to yield a utilization mixture, wherein preparation (A) contains at least one persulfate, and the preparations (B) are flowable and contain at least one oxidizing agent, and where preparations (B) and/or preparations (C) further contain(s) at least one natural polymer.
Abstract:
A stopper which engages a neck of a container. The stopper includes a circular bottom section and a head section which rises above the container and encompasses a slide. The rim of the head section has a maximum diameter that does not exceed the external diameter of the opening of the container. The slide can be pushed against the force of a spring device in one direction and, when released, returns to its retracted initial position as a result of the spring force. Opposing sides of the slide each end in circumferential sections. A first one of the circumferential sections forming an outer surface for receiving a first applied force for advancing the slide and causing the second one of the circumferential sections to protrude from the stopper. The second one of the circumferential sections receiving a second different applied force to remove the stopper from the container.
Abstract:
A method and a device for generating synchronization signals according to a predefined output timing standard and based on received synchronization signals is provided. Deviations of the timing of the received synchronization signals from a predefined input timing standard are detected, and the timing of the generated synchronization signals is adjusted based on the detected deviations.
Abstract:
Processes for lightening keratinic fibers are provided. In an exemplary process a ready-to-use lightening composition is produced by, immediately prior to application, combining a composition (A) comprising an alkalizing agent, a composition (B) comprising an oxidizing agent, and a composition (C) comprising a peroxo salt, and then mixing. The ready-to-use lightening composition is deployed from a foam dispensing vessel and distributed onto the fibers. The ready-to-use lightening composition is left on the fibers for a period of about 1 to about 60 min. and is washed out of the fibers.
Abstract:
Cosmetic preparation for keratin fibers, particularly human hair, having two separate phases, namely, an aqueous phase and a hydrophobic phase. The preparations contain at least one chemical oxidizer and at least one hydrophobic carboxylic acid ester and/or paraffin oil. As oxidizing preparations, the agents are used as a developer preparation for oxidation dyes or lighteners.
Abstract:
A one-way valve for the recontamination-protected repeated discharge of a flowable material from a container of a preferably reducible volume contains a valve seat which consists of a rigid plastic material and which is arranged in the container neck and comprises a base body which rests on the inner wall of the container neck and contains at least one through hole, and a projection which extends in axial direction of the container neck towards the exit opening. The valve seat has arranged thereabove an elastic seal which comprises an annular section covering the at least one through hole, and a sleeve-like section which surrounds the projection at a radial distance with the exception of its end section which in the closed state of the one-way valve rests in the exit opening on the end section of the projection. A sterilization element of silver or of another metal having an oligodynamic action may be arranged in the intermediate space between the projection of the valve seat and the elastic seal. The application of pressure to the contents of the container has the effect that the annular section of the seal releases the at least one through hole of the valve seat, the end section of the sleeve-like part of the seal exiting from the exit opening and releasing the same. The seal will then return into the initial state. The contents of the container is safely sealed against the ingress of contaminants.
