    摘要: In a process for producing a polymer or copolymer of an alpha-olefin which comprises continuously polymerizing or copolymerizing the alpha-olefin or the alpha-olefin with up to 5 mole % of a diolefin in the presence of a catalyst comprising a transition metal catalyst component and an organoaluminum catalyst component, the improvement wherein:(I) said polymerization or copolymerization is carried out in the presence of a catalyst composed of (A) a solid magnesium compound obtained by reacting (i) an adduct between a magnesium halide and an electron donor, with (ii) an organometallic compound of a metal of Groups I to III of the Mendelejeff's periodic table, (B) a liquid transition metal compound, and (C) an organoaluminum compound, and(II) said continuous polymerization or copolymerization is carried out while feeding the compound (B) separately from the other compounds (A) and (C) into a polymerization or copolymerization zone.

    摘要: In a continuous process for producing a polymer or copolymer of an alpha-olefin in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of a catalyst comprising a transition metal compound and an organoaluminum compound, the improvement wherein[I] polymerization or copolymerization is carried out in the presence of a catalyst composed of(A) a magnesium compound in the liquid state which is soluble in said hydrocarbon solvent and is free from an organoaluminum compound and a transition metal compound, said magnesium compound being obtained from specific reactants,(B) a transition metal compound in the liquid state, and(C) an organoaluminum compound, and[II] said polymerization or copolymerization is carried out while feeding said compound (C) into a polymerization or copolymerization zone separately from said other compounds (A) and (B), or while adding a part or the whole of said compound (C) to a liquid mixture of said other compounds (A) and (B) and feeding the resulting mixture into said zone, or while feeding a mixture of the compounds (A), (B) and (C) into said zone.

    摘要: A process for polymerizing an alpha-olefin using either a catalyst formed by contacting a highly active solid titanium catalyst component, an organo-metallic compound of a metal of Group 1 to 3 of the periodic table, an organic halogen compound or a transition metal compound, and an organosilicon compound or a sterically hindered amine in an inert medium in the absence of an alpha olefin, or a catalyst prepared by preliminarily polymerizing an alpha olefin in the presence of a catalyst comprising the above four catalyst components, provided that the last one is an optional component. This process achieves the industrially advantage that the catalysts are highly active, and give a polymer having excellent stereoregularity.

    摘要: An improved process for producing an ethylene copolymer composed of a major proportion of ethylene and a minor proportion of an alpha-olefin having 3 to 10 carbon atoms and having a density of 0.910 to 0.945 g/cm.sup.3 and an ethylene content of 85 to 99.5 mole %. The use of a titanium catalyst component (A) which meets a parametric combination of specific requirements is essential in this process. The process can industrially advantageously give a low to medium density ethylene copolymer of high quality with high productivity while advantageously circumventing the operational troubles which have been difficult to avoid by conventional processes.

    摘要: In a process for producing olefin polymers or copolymers which comprises polymerizing olefins or copolymerizing olefins with each other or with dienes in the presence of [A] a solid titanium catalyst component containing magnesium, titanium and halogen as essential ingredients and [B] an organometallic compound of a metal selected from the group consisting of metals of Groups I to III of the periodic table; the improvement wherein said catalyst component [A] is obtained by contacting (i) a magnesium compound in the liquid state with (ii) a titanium compound in the liquid state to form a solid product or first preparing a liquid mixture of the magnesium compound (i) and the titanium compound (ii) and then forming a solid product therefrom, said reaction of forming the solid product being carried out in the presence of at least one electron donor (iii) selected from the group consisting of aliphatic carboxylic acids with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, aryloxy group-containing alcohols, alkylene glycol diethers, aluminum trialkoxides and aluminum triaryloxides, said solid product being not contacted, during or after its formation, with an ester selected from the group consisting of esters of polycarboxylic acids and esters of polyhydroxy compounds.
