Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to material quality inspection. Conventional approaches available for material quality inspection are unable to address concerns of complexity and cost involved. The technical problem of occluded object detection and material quality inspection for intrinsic defects identification is addressed in the present disclosure. The present disclosure provides a system and method for non-intrusive material quality inspection using three-dimensional monostatic radar based imaging, where the object under inspection undergoes a circular translation motion on a rotating platform. A modified delay-and-sum (m-DAS) algorithm is built by incorporating virtual antenna array to obtain a 3D image reconstruction of the object. From 3D reconstructed images, radial displacement as well as the angular locations of the object is identified which are further used for quality inspection of the material comprised in the object.

Abstract: Portable ECG monitors available in market have the disadvantage that the ECG data they provide as input aren't directly interpretable and requires medical knowledge for the users. The disclosure herein generally relates to Electrocardiogram (ECG), and, more particularly, to a method and system for generating 2d representation of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. The system provides a mechanism for determining variability between a plurality of segments of an ECG data measured, and uses the information on the determined variability to generate the 2D representation corresponding to the ECG signal. The system further provides means to generate a data model that can be further used for processing real-time ECG data for generating corresponding interpretations. This allows a user to obtain the interpretations as output.

Abstract: Existing machine learning systems require historical data to perform analytics to detect faults in a machine and are unable to detect new types of faults/changes occurring in real time. These systems further fail to identify operation changes due to sensor drift and forget past events that have occurred. Present application provides systems and methods for identifying and classifying sensor drifts and diverse varying operational conditions from continually received sensor data using continual training of variational autoencoders (VAE) following drift specific characteristics, wherein sensor drift is compensated based on identified changes in sensors and degradation in machine(s). Rehearsal technique is performed by either VAE based generative models trained in previous iterations that are configured to generate a dataset corresponding to a current iteration, or discriminative instances of original dataset in previous iterations that are configured to generate a dataset corresponding to a current iteration, thus preventing from catastrophic forgetting.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to a unified platform for domain adaptable human behaviour inference. The platform provides a unified, low level inference and high level inference of domain adaptable human behaviour inference. The low level inferences include cross-sectional analysis techniques to infer location, activity, physiology. Further the high inference that provide useful and actionable for longitudinal tracking, prediction and anomaly detection is performed based on several longitudinal analysis techniques that include welch analysis, cross-spectrum analysis, Feature of interest (FOI) identification and time-series clustering, autocorrelation-based distance estimation and exponential smoothing, seasonal and non-seasonal models identification, ARIMA modelling, Hidden Markov models, Long short term memory (LSTM) along with low level inference, human meta-data and application domain knowledge. Further the unified human behaviour inference can be obtained across multiple domains that include health, retail and transportation.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to digital twin of cardiovascular system called as cardiovascular model to generate synthetic Photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal pertaining to disease conditions. The conventional methods are stochastic model capable of generating statistically equivalent PPG signals by utilizing shape parameterization and a nonstationary model of PPG signal time evolution. But these technique generates only patient specific PPG signatures and do not correlate with pathophysiological changes. Further, these techniques like most synthetic data generation techniques lack interpretability. The cardiovascular model of the present disclosure is configured to generate the plurality of synthetic PPG signals corresponding to the plurality of disease conditions. The plurality of synthetic PPG signals can be used to tune Machine Learning algorithms. Further, the plurality of synthetic PPG signals can be utilized to understand, analyze and classify cardiovascular disease progression.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to classification of cardiopulmonary fatigue. The method and system provides a longitudinal monitoring platform to classify cardiopulmonary fatigue of a subject using a wearable device worn by the subject. The activities of the subject is continuous monitored by plurality of sensors embedded in a wearable device. The received sensor signals are processed in multiple stages to classify cardiopulmonary fatigue as healthy or unhealthy based on respiratory, heart rate and recovery duration parameters extracted from the received sensor data. Further using the classified cardiopulmonary fatigue level, the C2P also performs longitudinal analysis to detect potential cardiopulmonary disorders.

Abstract: Fluids are normally transported from one place to another through pipelines. It is essential to monitor the pipeline to avoid leakage or theft. It is expensive and not feasible to install cameras and sensors along the whole length of the pipeline. A system and method for inspecting and detecting fluid leakage in a pipeline has been provided. The system is using vibration sensors along with pressure sensors to detect the leakage or theft along with the exact location of the leakage or theft. The pressure sensors are mounted on the pipeline so that the fluid touches the diaphragm of the pressure sensors to sense the wave generated due to leakage. The vibration sensors are mounted on top of the pipeline surface and on the nearby ground to eliminate general noise conditions. Moreover, two pressure sensors are also installed at opposite sides to pinpoint the leakage location.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting an anomaly in a cardiovascular signal using hierarchical extremas and repetitions. The traditional systems and methods provide for some anomaly detection in the cardiovascular signal but do not consider the discrete nature and strict rising and falling patterns of the cardiovascular signal and frequency in terms of hierarchical maxima points and minima points. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for detecting the anomaly in the cardiovascular signal using hierarchical extremas and repetitions by smoothening the cardiovascular signal, deriving sets of hierarchical extremas using window detection, identifying signal patterns based upon the sets of hierarchical extremas, identifying repetitions in the signal patterns based upon occurrences and randomness of occurrences of the signal patterns and classifying the cardiovascular signal as anomalous and non-anomalous for detecting the anomaly in the cardiovascular signal.

Abstract: A system and method for estimating blood pressure (BP) using photoplethysmogram (PPG) has been explained. The PPG is captured from a PPG sensor (102). For preparing training model, a pulse oximeter is used for capturing PPG. For testing, a smartphone camera is used for capturing the PPG signal. A plurality of features are extracted from the preprocessed PPG signal. A BP distribution is then generated using the plurality of features and the training model. The BP distribution is part of a set of BP distributions generated from different subjects. Finally, a post-processing methodology have been used to reject inconsistent data out of the set of BP distributions and BP value is estimated only for the remaining BP distributions and a statistical average is provided as the blood pressure estimate.

Abstract: A method and system for blood pressure (BP) estimation of a person is provided. The system is estimating pulse transit time (PTT) using the ECG signal and PPG signal of the person. A plurality of features are extracted from the PPG. The plurality of PPG features and the PTT are provided as inputs to an automated feature selection algorithm. This algorithm selects a set of features suitable for BP estimation. The selected features are fed to a classifier to classify the database into low/normal BP range and a high BP range. The correctly classified normal BP data are then used to create a regression model to predict BP from the selected features. The current methodology uses automated feature selection mechanism and also employs a block to reject extreme BP data. Thus the available accuracy in predicting BP is expected to be more than the existing BP estimation methods.
