    Abstract: A dielectric composition includes main phase grains and segregation grains. The segregation grains at least partly include RE-Mg—Ti—O segregation grains including “RE”, Mg, Ti, and O. “RE” includes a rare earth element. “RE”, Mg, and Ti in the RE-Mg—Ti—O segregation grains constitute 70 parts by mol or more in total out of 100 parts by mol of a total of metal elements in the RE-Mg—Ti—O segregation grains. A ratio of Mg to a total of “RE” and Mg in the RE-Mg—Ti—O segregation grains ranges from 0.1 to 0.3.

    Abstract: A dielectric composition includes dielectric particles, grain boundary phases, and segregations. The dielectric particles each include a perovskite compound represented by ABO3 as a main component. The grain boundary phases are located between the dielectric particles. The segregations exist in a part of the grain boundary phases and include at least Al, Si, and O. A molar ratio (Al/(Al+Si)) of an Al content to a total content of Al and Si in the segregations is 0.45 or more and 0.75 or less.

    Abstract: An electronic component includes an element body, a pair of external electrodes respectively disposed at both ends of the element body in a first direction, and a pair of metal terminals respectively connected to the pair of external electrodes with solder. Each metal terminal includes a connection opposing the corresponding external electrode in the first direction and formed with a plurality of grooves and includes a leg extending from the connection. The connection includes a pair of end edges separated from each other in a third direction intersecting with a second direction where the leg extends from the connection. The grooves extend in a direction different from the second direction and intersecting with the third direction so that the grooves are separated from one of the pair of end edges. A surface included in the connection and defining each of the grooves is in contact with the solder.
