摘要: An electrostatic motor includes a cylindrical rotor and a stator. Electrodes are disposed on an inside cylindrical surface of the stator. Electrets and/or electrically conductive electrodes are disposed on the cylindrical rotor and a dielectric fluid fills space between the rotor and the stator to prevent discharge of the electrets. A mask is used to charge portions of an electret cylinder or other curved surface.

摘要: The present invention provides an electret sheet that retains high piezoelectricity under high-temperature condition. The electret sheet of the invention is characterized by including a charged porous sheet, in which the electret sheet has a volume resistivity of 1.0×1015 Ω⋅cm or more at 25° C. and a dielectric breakdown voltage of 7 kV or more at 25° C. The electret sheet preferably having a volume resistivity of 1.0×1014 Ω⋅cm or more at 37° C. and a dielectric breakdown voltage of 7 kV or more at 37° C. retains excellent piezoelectricity even after being left under a high-temperature atmosphere over a long period.

摘要: A variable capacitor device that includes a dielectric layer comprising a shape-memory polymer, a first metal plate and a second metal plate, wherein the dielectric layer is sandwiched between the first and the second metal plates. The shape-memory polymer has a first thickness at a first temperature under a first external compressive load, a second thickness at a second temperature under a second external compressive load, wherein the first thickness is greater than the second thickness, the second temperature is greater than the first temperature, and the second external compressive load is greater than the first external compressive load. The shape memory polymer having the second thickness is configured to convert to the shape-memory polymer having the first thickness when sequentially subjected to the first external compressive load and the second temperature.

摘要: Provided are an element applicable to a high-precision, high-sensitivity pressure detecting sensor and switch, a manufacturing method for the element; and a sensor, an electronic circuit, and an input device that include the element. The electret element of the present invention has a semiconductor sandwiched between a pair of electrodes, and an electret film disposed at a location opposite to the semiconductor via a gap. The electret element of the present invention may be structured so that the semiconductor contacts with the electret film, or so as to have micro-sized gaps therebetween. The electret film is semi-permanently kept in a positively or negatively charged state. By having a structure in which the electret film can contact with or approach the semiconductor, an amount of electric currents flowing between the pair of electrodes can be controlled.

摘要: An electrostatic microgenerator having electret films which are arranged above one another in a double layer and each have a metal layer arranged on one side thereof as an electrode. The films are embedded in a hermetically sealed casing in a loosely wound manner. Applying pressure to a first desired pressure surface, which is provided on the outside parallel to the capacitor plates formed in this manner, makes it possible to generate an electrical voltage by changing the distance between the capacitor plates.
