摘要: A dielectric thin film has a main component including an oxynitride having excellent dielectric property, and a capacitance element includes the dielectric thin film. The dielectric thin film has a main component made of an oxynitride expressed by a compositional formula of AaBbOoNn (a+b+o+n=5), wherein “A” is one or more selected from Sr, Ba, Ca, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, and Na, “B” is one or more selected from Ta, Nb, Ti, and W, and crystalline particles constituting the dielectric thin film are polycrystalline which are not oriented to a particular crystal plane orientation, and further the crystalline particles have columnar shape crystals.

摘要: There is provided a lead- and potassium-free piezoelectric material having a high piezoelectric constant and a satisfactory insulation property and a piezoelectric element that includes the piezoelectric material. The piezoelectric material contains a perovskite-type metal oxide having the general formula (1): (NaxBa1-y)(NbyTi1-y)O3 (wherein x satisfies 0.80≤x≤0.95, and y satisfies 0.85≤y≤0.95); and at least one rare-earth element selected from La, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu, wherein the rare-earth element content is more than 0 mol % and 5 mol % or less of the amount of perovskite-type metal oxide. The piezoelectric element includes the piezoelectric material.

摘要: The present invention provides a piezoelectric material not containing lead and potassium, showing satisfactory insulation and piezoelectricity, and having a high Curie temperature. The invention relates to a piezoelectric material includes a main component containing a perovskite-type metal oxide represented by Formula (1): (NaxBa1-y)(NbyTi1-y)O3 (wherein, 0.80≤x≤0.94 and 0.83≤y≤0.94), and an additive component containing at least one element selected from Mn and Ni, wherein the content of the Ni is 0 mol or more and 0.05 mol or less based on 1 mol of the perovskite-type metal oxide, and the content of the Mn is 0 mol or more and 0.005 mol or less based on 1 mol of the perovskite-type metal oxide.

摘要: An article including a substrate and a plurality of coatings disposed on the substrate is presented. The plurality of coatings includes a thermal barrier coating disposed on the substrate; and a protective coating including a calcium-magnesium-aluminum-silicon-oxide (CMAS)-reactive material disposed on the thermal barrier coating. The CMAS-reactive material has an orthorhombic weberite crystal structure. The CMAS-reactive material is present in the plurality of coatings in an effective amount to react with a CMAS composition at an operating temperature of the thermal barrier coating, thereby forming a reaction product having one or both of melting temperature and viscosity greater than that of the CMAS composition. A method of making the article and a related turbine engine component are also presented.
