Abstract: An RF module includes a housing including connector cavities and having a rear wall with lands adjacent openings. The RF module includes RF connectors received in the connector cavities each having a conductive shell and a dielectric body positioning a center contact in the shell. The RF connector has a spring surrounding the shell between front and rear flanges and a rear retainer having a front rim. The RF connector is received in the opening such that the front rim engages the rear wall to retain the RF connector in the corresponding opening. The RF connector is spring loaded in the connector cavity to allow the RF connector to float in the connector cavity.

Abstract: A connector system for a wearable article including receptacle and plug connector assemblies is provided. The receptacle connector assembly includes a housing having a cavity receiving an electronic device and having a receptacle connector. The plug connector assembly includes a holder including an article mount securable to the wearable article and a support arm hingedly coupled to the article mount at a hinge. The plug connector assembly has a plug connector on the support arm including plug contacts and a cable electrically connected to the plug contacts. A seal is coupled between the receptacle connector and the plug connector. The plug connector is loaded into a receptacle of the receptacle connector to mate the plug contacts with the receptacle contacts to electrically connect the cable to the electronic device.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a shell and a contact organizer received in the shell including contact channels each having an open side between a front and a rear of the contact organizer. The contact organizer has locating shoulders in corresponding contact channels and securing detents extending into corresponding contact channels. Contacts are terminated to cables and are received in contact channels through the open sides. Each contact has a flange engaging the corresponding locating shoulder to hold an axial position of the contact within the contact channel. Each contact has an exterior surface engaging the corresponding securing detent to retain the contact in the contact channel by resisting removal through the open side.

Abstract: A terminal assembly includes a terminal having a wire barrel configured to be crimped to a wire and a mating segment configured to be mated to a mating component. The terminal assembly includes a wire retention seal received in the wire barrel. The wire retention seal has a terminal mounting flange engaging the wire barrel to axially secure the wire retention seal to the terminal. The wire retention seal has a wire retention sleeve defining a wire bore configured to receive an end of the wire. The wire retention sleeve is configured to interfere with the wire to axially retain the wire retention seal on the end of the wire prior to crimping the wire barrel to the wire.
