    摘要: The present invention relates to base stations, methods in a base station, terminals and methods in a terminal for supporting a handover. The invention further relates to computer programs for implementing, in the respective nodes of a wireless network, functionality for supporting a handover. According to one embodiment, a method in a source base station for supporting a handover of a terminal from the source base station to a target base station is provided. The method includes sending to an assisting base station a request for assisting the handover, and communicating handover control information between the terminal and the source base station via the assisting base station.

    摘要: A method in a configuration node of a cellular network for selecting, from a set of channels of at least one primary system, at least one channel for allocation to base stations of the cellular network is provided. The method comprises the steps: Receiving, from a database, a set of channels of the at least one primary system; Observing a quality ranking of the channels of the received set of channels; Determining an optimal number of channels for the cellular network on the basis of the ranked set of channels such that a signal quality in the cellular network is optimized; and Selecting from the received set of channels on the basis of the quality ranking and the determined optimal number of channels, at least one channel for allocation to base stations of the cellular network. A corresponding configuration node is also provided.

    摘要: According to some embodiments, a wireless device operating in dual connectivity with a first and second network node performs a method comprising establishing an uplink radio connection from the wireless device to the first and second network nodes. The wireless device comprises first MAC and RLC modules for uplink radio communication with the first network node, second MAC and RLC modules for uplink radio communication with the second network node, and a PDCP module for communicating with the first and second RLC modules. The method further comprises communicating data for uplink transmission from the PDCP module to the first RLC module; obtaining an indication to switch transmission of uplink data from the first network node to the second network node; resetting the first RLC module and the first MAC module; and communicating data for uplink transmission from the PDCP module to the second RLC module.

The uplink grant indicates uplink radio resources allocated to the communication device (10) in reoccurring time intervals. For each of these time intervals, the communication device (10) selects between an active mode and an inactive mode. In the active mode the communication device (10) performs an uplink transmission in the allocated uplink radio resources. In the inactive mode the communication device (10) performs no uplink transmission in the allocated uplink radio resources.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method in a node of a cellular network for supporting mobility, to a method in a user equipment for supporting mobility to in the cellular network, and to corresponding devices. According to one aspect, a method for supporting mobility in a cellular network is provided. The method runs in a node for the cellular network. According to the method, the node receives from a user equipment, an information of a radio link failure of a radio link between the user equipment and the cellular network and the node receives information related to a mobility of the user equipment. Based on the received information, the node adjusts at least one mobility parameter to increase robustness of mobility. The present invention improves robustness of mobility functions in a cellular network.
