摘要: A method in a wireless device is disclosed. The method comprises sending a scheduling request to a network node, and receiving, from the network node in response to the scheduling request, a grant of uplink resources. The method further comprises determining whether the granted uplink resources are at least equal to or larger than the resources required for transmission of both a buffer status report (BSR) and a sidelink BSR, and upon determining that the granted uplink resources are at least equal to or larger than the resources required for transmission of both the BSR and the sidelink BSR, communicating the BSR and the sidelink BSR to the network node in a single medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU).

摘要: The invention relates to a method for detecting that an additional serving cell is activated is provided. The method is implemented by a wireless device and a network node of a system supporting carrier aggregation. The network node serves the wireless device configured with a first serving cell and the additional serving cell. The network node method comprises configuring (710) the wireless device to transmit feedback information associated with the additional serving cell at a first rate, and transmitting (520) a command to the wireless device to activate the additional serving cell. The method also comprises detecting (530) the activation of the additional serving cell based on reception of feedback information from the wireless device, and configuring (540) the wireless device to transmit feedback information associated with the additional serving cell at a second rate after activation, where the second rate is lower than the first rate.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that relate to configuration of measurements gaps to be applied by a wireless device for a non-serving carrier on which the wireless device intended or is expected to perform Device-to-Device (D2D) operations. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a network node comprises determining whether a wireless device that is configured with a serving cell that operates on a first frequency is synchronized to a non-serving cell that operates on a second frequency, which is a non-serving frequency. The method further comprises determining whether to configure the wireless device to apply a first or second measurement gap configuration based upon whether the wireless device is synchronized to the non-serving cell and transmitting information to the wireless device that configures the wireless device to apply the determined measurement gap configuration.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for adapting thresholds for measurement triggering and measurement report triggering are disclosed. An example method, suitable for implementation in a base station, begins with monitoring (510, 610) a cell load for the cell served by the base station. The method continues with the determining (520, 630) of a first signal threshold for the serving cell to be used for triggering neighbor cell measurements by at least a first mobile terminal, or a second signal threshold for the serving cell to be used for triggering reporting of neighbor cell measurements by the first mobile terminal, or both, where said determining is based on the monitored cell load. The determined first signal threshold or the determined second signal threshold, or both, are transmitted (530, 640) to the first mobile terminal.

摘要: Methods for changing a carrier type from a first carrier type to a second carrier type are disclosed. An example method may be implemented in one or more nodes of a cellular system that includes a plurality of cells that can each be selectively operated with either a first carrier type or a second carrier type, one of the first and second carrier types either having substantially fewer reference symbols than the other or lacking a control structure supported by the other, or both. The example method begins with determining (800) that a cell or cells should be switched from the first carrier type to a second carrier type. This may be done based on for example, an evaluation of UE performance criteria, e.g., whether one or more UEs are capable of operating on the second carrier type and/or whether one or more UEs may receive a higher quality of service from the second carrier type. The example method continues with changing (810) the carrier type on the cell or cells from the first carrier type to the second carrier type.
