摘要: A method performed by a network node, for handling link adaption (LA) of a channel. The network node obtains a channel quality value for each Transmission Time Interval (TTI) in a set of TTIs. The network node estimates a probability that a specific channel quality will occur from the obtained channel quality values for the set of TTIs based on a distribution of channel quality values. The network node further determines a set of transmission parameters which optimizes a target function of LA, based on the estimated probability for the channel quality, wherein each set of transmission parameters is mapped to a channel quality which is required for a successful reception.

The first transmission point estimates the channel quality gain based on whether a first cell specific reference signal, CRS, configuration of the first transmission point (12) is using radio resources for a first CRS that are colliding or not with radio resources used for a second CRS of a second CRS configuration of the second transmission point (13) in the wireless communication network (1), and a utilization of frequency resources by the second transmission point (13).

摘要: A method performed by a network node for managing power of Cell Reference Symbols, CRS, wherein the network node operates one or more cells and the network node is configured to transmit the CRS in a first power mode. When the network node identifies a first cell which is not actively serving any UEs, which cell is also referred to as an empty cell, the network node reduces the power of the CRS in the first cell in relation to the first power mode. By reducing the power of the CRS, the overall interference of the CRS from the empty cell is reduced, thereby enhancing the performance in cells actively serving UEs.

摘要: A method and a status manager for controlling status reporting from a data receiving node in a wireless communication of data with a data sending node. In some embodiments, the method includes generating a machine learning, ML, model, wherein generating the ML model comprises providing training data to an ML algorithm. The method further includes using channel quality information, additional information, and the ML model to select a LAP from a set of predefined LAPs. In some embodiments, the additional information comprises: neighbor cell information about a second cell served by a second TRP, distance information indicating a distance between a UE and a first TRP, and/or gain information indicating radio propagation gain between the UE and the serving node. The method further includes the first TRP transmitting second data to the UE using the selected LAP.

摘要: A method and system for selectively activating and deactivating secondary cells in a wireless communication system are disclosed. According to one aspect, the invention provides a finite state machine having a plurality of states facilitating secondary cell activation and deactivation decisions. The states of the finite state machine include a deactivated state and an activated state. In the deactivated state, a secondary cell is deactivated and a media access control element, MAC CE, for deactivation is sent to the UE. The base station in the deactivated state is not allocating resources for maintaining transmission on the secondary cell. In the activated state, the secondary cell is active and a MAC CE for activation is sent to the UE. In the activated state, the base station is ready to transmit on the secondary cell.
