Abstract: A first and second UE are connected via a PC5 unicast link. Both maintain a list of potential Side link relay UEs and agree on a common list of UEs that appear in both lists. When the first UE detects that the second UE has trouble receiving it's transmission, e.g. ack/nack timeout or high level of NACKs, decide to use a third UE from the common list as Side Link relay towards the second UE.

Abstract: Systems and methods for narrowband measurements and reporting in a cellular communications system are disclosed. Embodiments of a method performed by a wireless device are disclosed. In some embodiments, the method performed by the wireless device comprises determining a set of narrowbands on which to perform measurements, wherein the set of narrowbands on which to perform measurements is a subset of all narrowbands within a respective system bandwidth. The method further comprises performing measurements on the set of narrowbands during one or more time periods associated with a random access procedure, and reporting the measurements or information derived from the measurements to a base station within a message sent from the wireless device to the base station during the random access procedure. In some embodiments, the message sent from the wireless device to the base station during the random access procedure is a Msg3.

Based on the notification, the first wireless communication device reconfigures (408) the DRX configuration and/or notifying a network node that the applied DRX configuration is unsuitable.

Abstract: When a wireless device obtains a request for a random access in a cell, based on information relating to at least one type of reference signal, it selects at least one type of reference signal. The wireless device then performs a measurement in said cell using the selected type or types of reference signal. Based on a result of the measurement, the wireless device selects a coverage enhancement level, and it then sends a random access message to the cell using radio resources associated with the selected coverage enhancement level.

Abstract: A method of receiving a wake-up signal from a network node is performed by a wireless device. The method includes determining provided coverage enhancement level with respect to the network node, determining an activity level of the wireless device, determining a required wake-up signal reception effort, in which the wake-up signal reception effort includes an amount of the redundancy of the wake-up signal being exploited at reception, based at least the coverage enhancement level and the activity level, and receiving a wake-up signal based on the determined reception effort. A wireless device including a wake-up receiver capable of receiving a wake-up signal from a network node and a computer program for implementing the method in the wireless device are also disclosed.
