Abstract: A network device serving two or more networks using periodic times slots for transmission events is configured to determine that one of the periodic time slots on one of the networks has or soon will collide with one of the periodic time slots on the other network by processing time stamps for events on each network. Abstract: According to an embodiment, a system and method is disclosed for efficient wake up in a wireless communication device for receiving beacons without significantly affecting the battery power and data throughput. Wireless device receives beacons from network elements such as access points. If beacons are not received as scheduled within defined intervals, then the wireless device determines a pattern of beacon reception timings and uses a weighted score process to select the best possible reception timing pattern and uses it as the schedule for receiving beacons on going forward basis, thus avoiding staying awake at all time to receive misaligned beacons.

Abstract: A method includes processing an input sequence of samples of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal (OFDM) to reduce a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of the OFDM signal with given constraints of an error vector magnitude (EVM) parameter and a spectral mask parameter for the OFDM signal during a first processing iteration. The method includes performing at least one other iteration of the first processing iteration on a subsequent time domain sequence generated in the first processing iteration to reduce the PAPR of the OFDM signal below a system target PAPR threshold and below threshold limits for the EVM parameter and the spectral mask parameter.
