    Abstract: A microneedle container includes a housing that houses a microneedle and a cover that covers the microneedle. The microneedle includes a base having a first surface on which a projection is formed and a second surface supported by a supporting portion of the housing. The base has an abutted portion on the first surface where the projection is not formed, and the cover has an abutment portion that faces the abutted portion, and a facing portion that faces the projection. A distance between the abutment portion and the facing portion is larger than that between the abutted portion and a distal end of the projection in a direction in which the projection extends. A distance between the abutment portion and the supporting portion is smaller than a sum of a distance between the abutted portion and the second surface and a distance between the abutted portion and the distal end.

    Abstract: A transdermal administration device includes an administration section which includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface which is a surface opposite to the first surface, and a projection protruding from the first surface, the administration section having flexibility; and a support body having a support surface that supports the second surface, the support body having flexibility. The support body includes at least one low rigidity region and at least one high rigidity region having flexural rigidity higher than flexural rigidity of the low rigidity region, the support body being configured to satisfy at least one of requirements that the low rigidity region is sandwiched by two high rigidity regions to form a stripe and that the high rigidity region is sandwiched by two low rigidity regions to form a stripe.

    Abstract: A transdermal administration device includes: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; a plurality of projections protruding from the first surface of the substrate, the plurality of projections being provided for piercing an administration target; and a raised and/or recessed structure composed of a plurality of raised and/or recessed elements. The plurality of raised and/or recessed elements includes at least either of raised elements raised from the second surface or recessed elements recessed from the second surface. The substrate, the projections and the raised and/or recessed structure are made of transparent material, and the plurality of raised and/or recessed elements forms a pattern as viewed in a direction perpendicular to the second surface which is finer than a pattern formed by the plurality of projections as viewed in a direction perpendicular to the first surface.
