摘要: A method is provided for manufacturing a product having a three dimensional surface layer. The method may involve applying a water based resin on an underlying surface of the product. The water based resin may be at least in part thermocurable. A UV-curable liquid may be provided onto at least one portion of the water based resin, when the water based resin is liquid or partially cured. The water based resin may be cured at least by heating. The UV-curable liquid may be optionally UV cured. The UV-curable liquid may be optionally removed. The surface layer and the underlaying surface may be optionally pressed together by a pressing device.

摘要: A method and apparatus for the additive manufacturing of three-dimensional objects are disclosed. Two or more materials are extruded simultaneously as a composite, with at least one material in liquid form and at least one material in a solid continuous strand completely encased within the liquid material. A means of curing the liquid material after extrusion hardens the composite. A part is constructed using a series of extruded composite paths. The strand material within the composite contains specific chemical, mechanical, or electrical characteristics that instill the object with enhanced capabilities not possible with only one material.

摘要: Described herein are methods, systems and apparatus (including associated control methods, systems and apparatus), for the production of a three-dimensional object by “bottom up” additive manufacturing, in which a carrier is vertically reciprocated with respect to a build surface, to enhance or speed the refilling of the build region with a solidifiable liquid. In preferred (but not necessarily limiting) embodiments, the three-dimensional object is produced from a liquid interface by continuous liquid interface production (i.e., “CLIP”).

摘要: A system and method for additive manufacturing of three-dimensional structures, including three-dimensional cellular structures, are provided. The system comprises at least one print head for receiving and dispensing materials, the materials comprising a sheath fluid and a hydrogel, the print head comprising an orifice for dispensing the materials, microfluidic channels for receiving and directing the materials, fluidic switches corresponding to one of the microfluidic channels in the print head and configured to allow or disallow fluid flow in the microfluidic channels; a receiving surface for receiving a first layer of the materials dispensed from the orifice; a positioning unit for positioning the orifice of the print head in three dimensional space; and a dispensing means for dispensing the materials from the orifice of the print head.

摘要: A method of forming a three-dimensional object of polyurethane, polyurea, or copolymer thereof is carried out by: (a) providing a carrier and an optically transparent member having a build surface, the carrier and the build surface defining a build region therebetween; (b) filling the build region with a polymerizable liquid, the polymerizable liquid including at least one of: (i) a blocked or reactive blocked prepolymer, (ii) a blocked or reactive blocked diisocyanate, or (iii) a blocked or reactive blocked diisocyanate chain extender; (c) irradiating the build region with light through the optically transparent member to form a solid blocked polymer scaffold and advancing the carrier away from the build surface to form a three-dimensional intermediate having the same shape as, or a shape to be imparted to, the three-dimensional object, with the intermediate containing the chain extender; and then (d) heating or microwave irradiating the three-dimensional intermediate sufficiently to form from the three-dimensional intermediate the three-dimensional object of polyurethane, polyurea, or copolymer thereof.

摘要: A three dimensional printing system includes a vertical support, a support plate, a resin vessel, a resin handling module, a latch, and an interface mechanism. The support plate has a proximal end affixed to the vertical support and extends along a first lateral axis to a distal end. The resin vessel is supported by the support plate and includes a vessel body and a transparent sheet. The vessel body has a latch feature formed therein. The resin handling module includes a fluid outlet for dispensing resin into the resin vessel. The interface mechanism is configured to move the latch into engagement with the latch feature and to move the resin handling module from a non-operating position to an operating position whereby the fluid outlet is operably positioned over a portion of the resin vessel.

摘要: A method of forming a fluid-filled implant is provided. The method includes: forming a first zone of an elastomeric membrane defining at least one partially enclosed void space; expanding a volume of the void space, thereby expanding a volume enclosed by the first zone; forming a second zone comprising at least one elastomeric middle layer on at least a portion of the expanded first zone; and reducing the volume of the void space, thereby contracting elastomeric layers of the first zone and the second zone. The method also includes forming an adjustable implant from the elastomeric membrane by enclosing the void space to form at least one chamber.
