    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a stator for a rotary electric machine. The stator includes a stator core and coil segments including protruding portions that are twisted by a first twist angle, except small-twisted protruding portions which are ones of the protruding portions and which are twisted by a second twist angle that is smaller than the first twist angle. The method is executed by using a tubular-shaped tool having engaging grooves having a first groove width, except small-twisting engaging grooves which are ones of the engaging grooves and which have a second groove width that is larger than the first groove width. The tubular-shaped tool is spirally rotated relative to the stator core, with the protruding portions being inserted in the engaging grooves except the small-twisted protruding portions that is inserted in the small-twisting engaging grooves, whereby the protruding portions including the small-twisted protruding portions are concurrently twisted.

    Abstract: A rotor of a rotating machine includes a rotor core in which a plurality of assembly holes is provided in an axial direction, and a first magnet and a second magnet. The first magnet and the second magnet are assembled to the rotor core by being inserted into the assembly holes in accordance with a predetermined arrangement pattern. An outer peripheral surface of any one of the first magnet and the second magnet, including end faces in the axial direction, being entirely covered with an insulating coating, and an outer peripheral surface of the other of the first magnet and the second magnet, excluding at least a part of end faces in the axial direction, being covered with an insulating coating.

    Abstract: A stator manufacturing device includes: an abutment member configured to form a bending start point in a lead wire segment coil among a plurality of segment coils inserted into a slot of a stator core, wherein the abutment member is configured to abut on a side surface of a projecting portion protruding from the slot of the lead wire segment coil from the outside in the radial direction of the stator core to form the bending start point; and a lead wire holding portion for holding the projecting portion of the lead wire segment coil, wherein the lead wire holding portion is configured to be movable along the radial direction and the axial direction of the stator core with respect to the abutment member.
