Abstract: Provided is a sealed battery, which includes an insulating member arranged between a lid member and a collector terminal member. The insulating member includes a cylindrical portion that is positioned between a through hole and a connecting portion and surrounds the connecting portion, and a flat plate portion positioned between the lid member and the flange portion, and the flat plate portion has a first projecting portion projecting towards the lid member side, and a second projecting portion projecting towards the flange portion side. Abstract: A thermal expansion coefficient of a battery case may be lower than those of an insulating film and a separator. Portions of the insulating film, which are held in contact with the electrode body and the battery case, may be adhered to the separator, which is positioned on the outermost surface of the electrode body, and the battery case, respectively. A first 90 degree peeling strength of an adhesion portion between the insulating film and the battery case is higher than a second 90 degree peeling strength of an adhesion portion between the insulating film and the separator. The first 90 degree peeling strength may be 15 mN/cm or higher, and the second 90 degree peeling strength may be 5 mN/cm or higher.

Abstract: A cell that is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes an electrode body in which a sheet-shaped positive electrode and a sheet-shaped negative electrode are stacked via a separator, and a battery case that accommodates the electrode body and an electrolytic solution. The electrode body includes a predetermined number of outer layers including an outermost layer made up of the separator and the negative electrode disposed on an outermost side of the electrode body, and an inner layer disposed on an inner side than the outer layer. The outer layer includes a negative electrode mixture layer configured to suppress heat generation of the electrode body caused by a short circuit of the electrode body as a heat generation suppressing member. The inner layer does not include the heat generation suppressing member.
