摘要: A battery manufacturing method includes assembling an internal terminal, a gasket, a battery case component, an insulator, and an external terminal into a state where a cylindrical part of the gasket is fitted in a mounting hole of the battery case component, a projecting part of the internal terminal is fitted in the cylindrical part of the gasket, the insulator is disposed on an outer surface of the battery case component with the projecting part fitted in a through-hole, and the external terminal is disposed on top of the insulator so as to lie on the projecting part. The external terminal is pressed against the projecting part of the internal terminal, and the external terminal or the internal terminal is vibrated to thereby weld together the projecting part and the external terminal in a solid state.

摘要: A sealed battery includes a battery outer case, a collector terminal, an outwardly exposed terminal, and a current shut-off mechanism configured to cut off a conductive path from the collector terminal to the outwardly exposed terminal when the internal pressure of the battery outer case exceeds a predetermined pressure. The current shut-off mechanism includes a connection plate with a vent hole, and a shut-off valve including a reversing portion. A joint region in the connection plate is in contact with a surface, of the reversing portion, that faces the inner side of the battery outer case. A thermal-spray joint portion configured to cover a border between the joint region and the reversing portion is provided, such that the shut-off valve is joined to the connection plate via the thermal-spray joint portion.

摘要: A sealed-type battery includes an exterior body, a collector terminal, a hollow rivet defining a hollow section, and a reverse plate arranged between the collector terminal and the hollow rivet. The collector terminal includes: a projected section projected; a peripheral edge section provided; and a notch section provided in the peripheral edge section in a manner to surround the projected section and formed in a manner to reduce thickness of the collector terminal. In a projected direction of the projected section, the projected section is thicker than the peripheral edge section. A fitting section, to which the projected section is fitted, is provided in the reverse plate. The sealed-type battery includes a welded section that has a top surface opposing the hollow rivet and that joins the collector terminal and the reverse plate at a position between the projected section and the fitting section.

摘要: In the method for manufacturing a cell according to the present invention, the cell has a cell case, an external terminal, a relay member, and a pressure-type current interrupting mechanism, the method including fixing the relay member and the external terminal to the cell case by caulking the relay member to the external terminal by means of a caulking process. A tubular reinforcing member that is configured with a material harder than that of the relay member is attached to an inner circumferential surface of the tubular shaft portion of the relay member prior to the caulking process, and the caulking process is performed, with the reinforcing member being attached to the inner circumferential surface of the relay member.

摘要: A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes an external terminal electrically connecting a charge collector disposed inside a battery case with a terminal, a first part electrically connected to the charge collector, a second part electrically connected to the terminal, a first connection part electrically connecting the first part with the second part, and a second connection part electrically connecting the first part with the second part, the second connection part being different from the first connection part. The first connection part is ruptured when a displacement of the displacement part toward the outside of the battery case is transferred to the first connection part, and the second connection part becomes nonconductive when a temperature of the second connection part reaches a predefined temperature.
