摘要: A rubber gasket for a fuel cell is interposed between a first member and a second member stacked in the fuel cell. The fuel cell includes: a seat portion arranged on a surface of the first member; and a lip portion that includes a first hill portion projecting from the seat portion toward the second member and having a curved surface with a first curvature radius and a second hill portion projecting from the first hill portion toward the second member and having a curved surface with a second curvature radius smaller than the first curvature radius, and that makes elastic contact with the second member. The seat portion includes a planar inclined surface inclined with respect to the surface direction at a connecting portion leading to a bottom of the first hill portion.

摘要: A terminal plate for fuel cell includes a core plate that includes a first opening portion at a position corresponding to a manifold, a cover plate that includes a second opening portion at a position corresponding to the manifold, and is arranged at least on a surface on a side of a unit fuel cell of the core plate, and a resin sheet that is interposed between the core plate and the cover plate, includes a third opening portion at a position corresponding to the manifold, and is arranged at a position facing a manifold forming area. The core plate includes a first metal plate that is arranged at a position facing a power generating area, and a second metal plate that is joined to the first metal plate, includes the first opening portion, and is arranged at a position facing the manifold forming area. Each of the cover plate and the second metal plate is made of a metal material higher in corrosion resistance than the first metal plate.

摘要: A fuel-cell unit cell comprises an MEGA plate with a resin frame, and two separators. There is formed a gas manifold hole in an outer edge portion of the resin frame. There is provided a gas-flow-path forming portion with a recessed-and-protruded shape on the first surface of the resin frame for forming gas flow paths between the gas manifold hole and the first surface of the MEGA. There is also formed a fusion-bonding portion for surrounding a periphery of the gas manifold hole to cut off gas circulation between the gas manifold hole and the second surface of the MEGA and for bonding the resin frame and the second separator with each other, on the second surface of the resin frame so as to pass across a backside of the gas-flow-path forming portion. The fusion-bonding portion is formed from a first resin, and the gas-flow-path forming portion is formed from a second resin higher in melting point than the first resin.

摘要: A separator that is used for a fuel cell includes: a separator center area that is arranged to face a power generation area of the membrane electrode assembly; an outer peripheral portion that is extended from the separator center area to outer periphery; a first manifold hole and a second manifold hole that are provided in the outer peripheral portion; a fluid flow path that is arranged to extend from the first manifold hole through the separator center area to the second manifold hole; and a gasket that is provided on the outer peripheral portion to surround an area of the fluid flow path and outer circumferences of the first and second manifold holes. The gasket is divided into first gasket portions that are provided adjacent to ends of the separator center area and are extended along respective side edges at the ends, and second gasket portions that are provided to surround the outer circumferences of the first manifold hole and the second manifold hole, respectively. The first gasket portions have a larger width than a width of the second gasket portions.

摘要: Stacked unit cells 100 of a fuel cell each comprise a membrane electrode assembly 10, a pair of gas separators 40 and 50, and a first sealing portion 26 provided between the pair of gas separators. The fuel cell further comprises a second sealing portion provided between adjacent ones of the unit cells, a first manifold in which reaction gas flows, and a second manifold in which a coolant flows. One of the first sealing portion and the second sealing portion is an adhesive sealing portion, and another one of the first sealing portion and the second sealing portion is formed of a gasket. The adhesive sealing portion and the gasket are provided along the outer circumference of the manifold, in the fuel cell as viewed in a stacking direction. The gasket and the adhesive sealing portion are arranged in this order from a side closer to the manifold.

摘要: An object is to equalize the level of cooling along a top-bottom direction of a fuel cell stack. A fuel cell stack has an anode-side separator placed between a plurality of membrane electrode assemblies. The anode-side separator comprises a separator center area that is arranged to face a power generation area of the membrane electrode assembly; an outer peripheral portion that is extended from the separator center area to outer periphery and has a plurality of openings for cooling medium supply manifolds; and a rib that is firmed from a beam portion provided to separate the adjacent openings for cooling medium supply manifolds from each other, over an area between the openings for cooling medium supply manifolds and the separator center area.
