摘要： A photothermographic material includes on a support a non-photosensitive sliver salt, a photosensitive sliver halide, a nucleation agent, and a binder, and a layer containing specific compounds is formed on an outer side of the image forming layer. Thus, there are obtained such images optimal for photomechanical processes as having a high Dmax (maximum density), a low fog, a good coated surface condition, and less surface defects such as repellency, coating lines or the like.

摘要： A novel liquid crystal display device is disclosed. The device comprises two polarizer films, a liquid crystal cell disposed between these two polarizer films wherein liquid-crystalline molecules are oriented substantially normal to the substrates under non-operative state in the absence of applied external electric field; at least one layer of a first optically-anisotropic layer having an optically positive refractive anisotropy having Re falling within a range from 40 to 150 nm at visible light; and at least one layer of a second optically-anisotropic layer having an optically negative refractive anisotropy, and having Re of 10 nm or less and Rth falling within a range from 60 to 250 nm at visible light.

摘要： The present invention discloses a laser ablative recording material having at least one coloring agent layer and at least one overcoat layer on a surface of a support, wherein at least one of the overcoat layers contains a non-self-oxidizing, low temperature heat decomposable polymer which, when heated at a rate of 10° C./min, starting at room temperature, decreases in weight by 50% or more before reaching 300° C. This laser ablative recording material is characterized by excellent scratch resistance, a low Dmin, and a very high dye removing efficiency.

摘要： An exposure control system for a photographic camera of the type provided with a shutter preselection automatic exposure range and a diaphragm preselection automatic exposure range, wherein various exposure control parameters are digitized and applied to a digital computer for providing either shutter interval or diaphragm aperture control signals. For exposure control in the shutter preselection automatic exposure range, there are provided a signal generator associated with the camera diaphragm mechanism, an analog-to-digital converter cooperative therewith for providing digital signals corresponding to ever varying aperture sizes as the diaphragm mechanism is operated from its fully open position, and a comparator connected between said computer and converter upon detection of coincidence of the signal from the computer with one of the signals from the converter to provide a diaphragm mechanism arresting signal. Further, the invention provides various types of non-contact device usuable as the diaphragm information generator.
