摘要： A multimedia signal processing apparatus comprises communication service units having a plurality of types of signal processing modes corresponding to a plurality of types of communication service classifications, a communication service classification identifying unit for identifying, on the basis of signal processing request information on one call communicated from a higher-rank node, a communication service classification for that call, and a mode control unit for controlling a signal processing mode of the communication service unit to a mode suitable for the communication service classification identified in the communication service classification identifying unit. With this configuration, in the multimedia signal processing apparatus, the signal processing mode of the communication service unit is controlled to a mode suitable for the service classification for each call, which can considerably decrease the number of communication service units to be mounted and significantly reduce the probability of the rejection of newly arrived call.

摘要： There is provided a radar apparatus for detecting a target. A detection signal generating unit generates detection signals of the target based on transmission and reception waves of antennas. A detection signal processing unit performs frequency analysis on the detection signals to extract signal components of the target, and performs a predetermined process on the signal components to calculate at least one of a distance to the target, a relative speed to the target, and an orientation of the target. The detection signal generating unit includes a filter unit for giving changes to the detection signals in a frequency bandwidth higher than Nyquist frequency which is a half a sampling frequency. The detection signal processing unit acquires the signal components from the detection signals to which the filter unit gives the changes to determine whether the signal components are generated by replication due to the Nyquist frequency.

摘要： A method for booting up a computer is disclosed. Initially, a memory image of a boot program is stored in a main memory of a computer. The memory image includes a first initialization code and a second initialization code. During the booting process of the computer, first initialization code is executed. In response to the completion of the execution of the first initialization code, the boot program is shifted to an idle state. In response to an activation event, the second initialization code is executed.

摘要： A computer system having an operating environment configured for enabling boot up in a relatively short time is disclosed. A hard disk is utilized to store a boot file. A run process list registers a process to be run during boot up. When the computer system is being booted up, if the run process list registers a process to load the boot file, a process control unit does not control a process management unit, so that the process is run as usual. If the process is not registered, the process management unit suspends the process. When the suspended process is called by another process later, the process control unit makes the process resumed on demand.
