摘要: A method of manufacturing a display device is provided, which includes: forming a buffer layer on a supporting plate; forming a flexible substrate layer on the supporting plate and the buffer layer; forming at least one thin film on the flexible substrate layer; forming a protective layer covering the at least one thin film; forming a plurality of through-holes to expose the buffer layer; removing the buffer layer by injecting an etchant into the through-holes; removing the protective layer; and separating the flexible substrate layer from the supporting plate. According to the present invention, misalignment of the thin films due to the deformation of the plastic substrate may be prevented such that the production time may be minimized, thereby improving productivity of the display device.

摘要: A flat panel display device displays an image using a micro-shutter electrode and a diffusive reflection layer. The display device has a wide viewing angle and reduces a loss of light to thus improve light efficiency. In addition, gray levels can be determined by an electrostatic force between the pixel electrode and the micro-shutter electrode. An opening/closing operation of the micro-shutter electrode is fast so that the response speed can be improved.

摘要: An electrophoretic display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may include: a first substrate, a first electrode formed on the first substrate, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a plurality of charged particles arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, pairs of the charged particles having different polarities. Each charged particle has at least two threshold voltages, where the threshold voltages are voltage magnitudes below which a voltage applied across the first and second electrodes does not move the associated charged particle. The pixels may represent any one of colors such as red, green, blue, white, and black by including two charged particles of different colors in one pixel and changing the attractive and repulsive force threshold voltages of each of two charged particles of different colors contained in the pixel.

摘要: A manufacturing method of a display panel for an LCD includes forming a gate line on a flexible insulation substrate, depositing a gate insulating layer on the gate line, forming a semiconductor layer on the gate insulating layer and forming a data line and a drain electrode on the semiconductor layer and the gate insulating layer. The forming the semiconductor layer may be performed by PECVD at about 100° C. to about 180° C., the gate insulating layer may have a thickness of about 2000 Å to about 5500. The method may further include performing hydrogen plasma treatment on the gate insulating layer after the depositing the gate insulating layer and annealing the substrate having the plurality of thin films after the forming the data line and the drain electrode. The insulation substrate may include PES.
