摘要: Disclosed herein is a novel gluconacetobacter strain having cellulose producing activity. Specifically, the present invention relates to a novel gluconacetobacter strain producing nano-structured cellulose in a highly efficient manner. The cellulose produced by the strain, due to its superb thermodynamic properties, can be characterized as nano-structured bacterial cellulose and therefore utilized as a bio-nano-fiber. Particularly, the cellulose can be impregnated with a resin to form a cellulose-based resin which can be effectively adapted for a substrate for a liquid crystal display (LCD).

摘要: A liquid crystal display is provided, which includes a liquid crystal panel assembly including a plurality of red, green, blue and white pixel areas, and a backlight unit placed at a side of the liquid crystal panel assembly. The light emitted from the backlight unit has a color coordinate (x, y) where x ranges from about 0.31 to about 0.34, and y ranges from about 0.32 to about 0.35.

摘要: A method of fabricating a flexible display device. The method includes forming an adhesive layer on a first carrier substrate; laminating a first flexible substrate on the adhesive layer, so that a first separation layer of the first flexible substrate is disposed on the adhesive layer; forming a thin film transistor array on the first flexible substrate; and separating the first carrier substrate from the flexible substrate by directing a laser beam onto the first separation layer. The first separation layer comprises silicon nitride (SiNx) with amounts of nitride A1 and amounts of silicon B1 satisfying 0.18≦{A1/B1}≦0.90.

摘要: An electrophoretic display includes a lower substrate, an upper substrate, a color display layer on the lower substrate, a pixel electrode on the lower substrate, and a common electrode on the lower substrate or the upper substrate. The common electrode does not overlap the pixel electrode, and an electrophoretic active layer having a dispersion medium and electrophoretic particles is arranged between the lower substrate and the upper substrate. The electrophoretic active layer is a single-polarity electrophoretic particle system, and grayscales are generated depending on the number of electrophoretic particles arranged in a portion of the electrophoretic active layer corresponding to the pixel electrode. The position of the electrophoretic particles is controlled by the magnitude of the electric field applied between the pixel electrode and the common electrode.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a display device in which a film deposited on a substrate through openings in a covering layer is easily removed from the covering layer, is described herein, includes forming a master layer having a predetermined pattern of openings on a base substrate; spraying a light shielding material on the master layer; fabricating a mold provided with the light shielding film by forming a moldable material layer on the base substrate and the master layer; the moldable material layer and the light shielding material; arranging, pressurizing, and exposing the mold on an insulation substrate having a photosensitive film formed thereon after separating the mold from the master layer; and developing the photosensitive film after separating the mold from the insulation substrate.

The LCD includes a substrate having red color filters, green color filters, and blue color filters.
