摘要： In a method of manufacturing a stretchable composite sheet, the first continuous sheet is stretched while being transported from a first nip area to a second nip area. The first continuous sheet is either a sheet in which stretchability has already been developed or a sheet in which stretchability has yet to be developed. An opening is formed in the first continuous sheet intermittently in the transport direction, while transporting the first continuous sheet from the second nip area to a third nip area after the stretching operation. A second continuous sheet having a lower stretchability than the first continuous sheet is overlapped and adhered to the first continuous sheet in the third nip area.

摘要： In a method of producing a stretchable sheet using a pair of gear rolls each having a plurality of teeth arranged on a circumference thereof, a raw sheet is drawn by passing the raw sheet through a gap between the pair of gear rolls. The raw sheet contains a plurality of types of fibers, and has a plurality of recessed sections formed by pressing. The recessed sections are formed collinearly at least along the drawing direction at a predetermined formation pitch in the drawing direction. An arrangement pitch of the teeth in the drawing direction is greater than the formation pitch and smaller than twice the formation pitch.

摘要： Here is disclosed a process for continuously making a disposable wearing articles. A first web includes a series of sheet members contiguous to one another in a transverse direction of this web, each of the sheet members defining an outer surface of the article, is continuously fed in a first machine direction. A second web having a Ω-shaped cross-section and configured to form individual adhesive taper strips is fed in a second machine direction orthogonal to the first machine direction. The second web is periodically cut in a second cross direction orthogonal to the second machine direction to obtain composites configured to be a pair of the adhesive tape strips. After the composite has been fed in the second machine direction and attached to the first web, the first web is cut together with the composite so as to bisect the length of the composite. Respective halves of the composite bisected in this manner become the individual adhesive tape strips.

摘要： In a process for making disposable diapers, a first web is continuously fed in its longitudinal direction. Tape fastener members extending in the longitudinal direction are fed to the first web so as to straddle respective lines corresponding to the side edges of the respective backsheets. Each of the tape fastener members has its longitudinally opposite end portions folded in a Z-shape or an inverted Z-shape. Top sections of these Z-shape and inverted Z-shape are coated on their undersides with a first self adhesive and bottom sections of these Z-shape and inverted Z-shape are coated on their undersides with a second self-adhesive. The tape fastener member is bonded to the first web by means of the second self-adhesive. The first web and the tape fastener members are simultaneously cut along the lines.
