    摘要: A vinyl chloride polymer composition comprising(A) 3 to 50 parts by weight of a grafted copolymer and(B) 97 to 50 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride polymer, a total amount of the copolymer (A) and the polymer (B) being 100 parts by weight; the grafted copolymer (A) comprising(1) 50 to 80 parts by weight of a rubber copolymer and(2) 50 to 20 parts by weight of a grafting monomer, a total amount of the component (1) and the component (2) being 100 parts by weight; the component (1) comprising(a) 60 to 90% by weight of the rubber copolymer comprising 99 to 85% by weight of alkyl acrylate having an alkyl group of 2 to 8 carbon atoms, 1 to 15% by weight of conjugated diolefin and 0 to 5% by weight of polyfunctional cross-linking agent and(b) 40 to 10% by weight of a surface rubber copolymer comprising 98 to 70% by weight of alkyl acrylate having an alkyl group of 2 to 8 carbon atoms, 2 to 30% by weight of conjugated diolefin and 0 to 5% by weight of polyfunctional cross-linking agent and being obtained by polymerizing the component (a) to give a core rubber copolymer and then polymerizing the surface rubber copolymer component (b) in the presence of the core rubber copolymer (a), and a ratio of conjugated diolefin to acrylate in the surface rubber copolymer (b) is larger than a ratio of conjugated diolefin to acrylate in the core rubber copolymer (a) and the component (2) comprising(i) 30 to 95% by weight of methyl methacrylate and(ii) 70 to 5% by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of unsaturated nitrile, aromatic vinyl compound, alkyl acrylate having an alkyl group of 1 to 8 carbon atoms and alkyl methacrylate having an alkyl group of 2 to 4 carbon atoms. The vinyl chloride polymer composition has excellent impact resistance, weatherability and processability.

    摘要: A vinyl chloride resin composition having improved weather resistance and impact resistance which contains, as a modifier, a graft copolymer which is prepared by graft-polymerizing 50 to 15 parts by weight of a monomer component composed of mainly methyl methacrylate on 50 to 85 parts by weight of a cross-linked alkyl acrylate polymer so that 30 to 90% by weight of the monomer component is graft-polymerized and, then, the remaining portion of the monomer component is graft-polymerized in the presence of 0.1 to 5% by weight, based on the whole amount of the monomer component, of a copolymerizable cross-linking agent, the fraction extracted from said graft polymer with methyl ethyl ketone having a specific viscosity of at least 0.6 as measured in a concentration of 0.1 g/100 cc in acetone at 30.degree. C. The composition has a reduced die swelling and provides shaped articles having excellent weather resistance and impact strength.

The vinyl chloride polymer composition has excellent impact resistance, weatherability and processability.

    摘要: A vinyl chloride resin composition including: (1) 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin and (2) 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of a two-stage polymer, said polymer (2) being prepared by emulsion-polymerizing 60 to 95 parts by weight of a monomer mixture (A) of 50 to 95% by weight of methyl methacrylate, 5 to 50% by weight of an alkyl methacrylate with a C.sub.2 to C.sub.8 alkyl group and 0 to 20% by weight of a vinyl monomer to give a polymer latex and then polymerizing 40 to 5 parts by weight of a monomer mixture (B) of 20 to 80% by weight of an alkyl acrylate and/or an alkyl methacrylate other than methyl methacrylate, 80 to 20% by weight of methyl methacrylate and 0 to 20% by weight of a vinyl monomer in the presence of said polymer latex, said polymer (2) having a particle size of not more than 1000 .ANG. in the latex, and a specific viscosity at 30.degree. C. of the solution wherein 0.4 g of said polymer (2) is dissolved in 100 ml of benzene of 1 or more. The composition is excellent in transparency and secondary processability as well as in processability. Thus, a composition having excellent properties can be prepared by admixing a small amount, such as 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of the two-stage polymer as the agent for improving the processability with 100 parts by weight of the vinyl chloride resin.

    摘要: A vinyl chloride polymer composition comprising (A) 5 to 50% by weight of a MBS resin prepared by firstly graft-polymerizing 15 to 40 parts by weight of monomer component comprising 80 to 100% by weight of methyl methacrylate and 20 to 0% by weight of one or more other vinyl monomers capable of copolymerizing with methyl methacrylate onto 40 to 70 parts by weight of a styrene-butadiene rubber including not more than 50% by weight of styrene, and then, onto the obtained copolymer, secondly graft-polymerizing 10 to 40 parts by weight of monomer component comprising 80 to 100% by weight of styrene and 20 to 0% by weight of one or other vinyl monomers capable of copolymerizing with styrene, a total amount of said styrene-butadiene rubber, the first graft-polymerizing monomer component and the second graft-polymerizing monomer component being 100 parts by weight, and (B) 95 to 50% by weight of vinyl chloride polymer wherein;(i) an amount of said first graft-polymerizing monomer component including methyl methacrylate as a main component being 40 to 80% by weight based on the total weight of the first and second graft-polymerizing monomer components and(ii) said MBS resin prepared by graft-polymerizing under the condition that agglomeration of said styrene-butadiene rubber substantially does not occur in the course of the graft-polymerization having an average particle size of not less than 1500 .ANG. and a proportion of particles having a particle size of not more than 1000 .ANG. being not more than 20% by weight and that having a particle size of not less than 3000 .ANG. being not more than 20% by weight. A molded article of the vinyl chloride polymer composition has excellent solvent-resistance, transparency and impact-resistance.
