    摘要: Curable compositions comprising (A) an organopolysiloxane of the following general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are monovalent hydrocarbon groups, and R.sup.4 is a divalent organic group, (B) a silane having an .alpha.-silylester group, (C) a photoinitiator, and (D) a curing catalyst. The compositions are both photo-curable and room-temperature-curable. When cured by irradiation with light, the compositions give cured products having good rubber properties.

    摘要: This invention enables the selective and easy manufacturing of acrylic organopolysiloxanes which are cured by the irradiation of UV light, by the reaction of the hydroxyl group containing organosilicon compounds (A) of formula (1): ##STR1## wherein each R.sup.1 independently is a substituted or an unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and n designates integers from 1 to 10,000 with the acrylic group containing silane compounds (B) of formula (2): ##STR2## wherein each R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 independently is a substituted or an unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, R.sup.4 is either a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and each of a and b is an integer from 1 to 3, in the presence of a divalent tin compound of formula (3):SnX.sub.2wherein each X independently is a halogen atom, alkoxy group, or a residue of a carboxyl group, in order to produce the acrylic organopolysiloxanes of formula (4): ##STR3## wherein R.sup.1 through R.sup.4, n, a and b are described as above.

    摘要: A novel acrylic-functional organopolysiloxane is proposed which has a plural number of silicon-bonded (meth)acryloxyalkyl groups at each molecular chain end along with one or more of silicon-bonded alkoxy groups. The organopolysiloxane exhibits high curability by the irradiation with ultraviolet light or dual curability either by the ultraviolet irradiation or by the dealcoholation condensation reaction in a moisture-containing atmosphere. The acrylic-functional organopolysiloxane is prepared by the dealcoholation condensation reaction between a starting organopolysiloxane having a plural number of silicon-bonded alkoxy groups at each molecular chain end and a (meth)acryloxyalkyl dimethyl silanol compound in the presence of a specific condensation catalyst which is a divalent tin compound such as tin (II) dioctoate promoting the dealcoholation condensation but suppressing the silanol condensation reaction between the moleculaes of the (meth)acryloxyalkyl dimethyl silanol compound.

    摘要: The present novel organosilicon compound is a 2-trimethoxysilylpropionate represented by the following formula ##STR1## wherein R represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms. This ester reacts efficiently with alcohols and silanols and is useful, for example, as a terminal alkoxysilylating agent for organopolysiloxanes such as industrially useful .alpha.,.omega.-dihydroxypolydimethylsiloxane, or as a surface treatment for silicas, or as a storage stabilizer that serves as a scavenger of an alcohol for alcohol elimination type RTV. Further, since the present organosilicon compound is a three-functional alkoxysilane having three methoxy groups in the molecule, it is useful as a curing agent for alcohol elimination type RTV.

    摘要: A room temperature curable fluoropolymer composition is provided which comprises (A) a straight chain fluoropolymer compound containing, in its backbone chain, at least one structure selected from a perfluoroalkylene structure and a perfluoropolyether structure and having a hydrolyzable silyl group at both ends of its molecular chain, (B) an organic compound having at least one carbonyl group per molecule, and (C) one compound selected from (C-1) an organic compound having at least one primary amino group per molecule and (C-2) a compound having at least one proton per molecule and having an acid dissociation constant (pKa) in water of 2 or less. Another room temperature curable composition is also provided which comprises said (A) component, (B') an organosilicon compound having at least two silanol groups per molecule, and (C') a condensation accelerator. These compositions are not only excellent in heat resistance, weatherability, electrical properties, processability, chemical resistance, solvent resistance and oil repellant properties, but also excellent in fast curability and deep-portion curability. A novel compound which is suitable as said fluoropolymer compound (A) is further provided.

    摘要: A fluorine-containing organosilicon compound represented by the following general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl group, a perfluorooxyalkyl group, a perfluoroalkylene group, or a perfluorooxyalkylene group, A represents a bivalent organic group, R.sup.1 represents an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, X represents a hydrolyzable group, Y is 1 in the case where the above group Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl group or a perfluorooxyalkyl group or Y is 2 in the case where the above group Rf represents a perfluoroalkylene group or a perfluorooxyalkylene group, m is an integer of 0 to 2, and n is an integer of 1 to 3, with m+n being 3 or less. Since this compound has an acryloyloxy group(s), the compound when irradiated with ultraviolet light can be easily cured within a short period of time, for example, within about 1 to 2 min in the presence of a photopolymerization initiator.
