摘要: An object is to provide a method and an apparatus for improving a residual stress in a tubular body, which are enabled to improve the residual stress reliably by clearly defining controlling rage for treatment conditions without depending on an installation state and configuration of the tubular body. When a cylindrical tubular body (2) is improved in its residual stress by locally irradiating an outer-circumferential surface of a welded portion (C) of the tubular body (2) with laser beams (5a) and by moving an irradiation area (s) in an circumferential direction, a plurality thermocouples (9) are installed on the tubular body (2) to be improved, a temperature history of the outer surface of the tubular body (2) by the irradiation of the laser beam (5a) is managed by measuring the temperature history itself.

摘要: An object is to provide a method and a system for improving a residual stress in a tube body, with which the residual stress can reliably be improved without heating excessively. From an irradiation start angle θs to a first predetermined angle θ1 on the tube body, an intensity of a laser beam is gradually increased from 0.5 to the steady output of 1.0 output ratio; from the first predetermined angle θ1 to a second predetermined angle θ2, the intensity of the laser beam is set at 1.0 output ratio; from the second predetermined angle θ2 to an irradiation end angle θe, the intensity of the laser beam is gradually decreased from the 1.0 output ratio to 0.5; and at the irradiation end angle θe, the intensity of the laser beam is set to 0. All these steps are performed at one turn of rotation in the method and the system for improving residual stress in the tube body.

摘要: A tip tool guide apparatus is brought into a water chamber of a steam generator of nuclear power equipment, and guides a tip tool, such as a shot peening head, along a necessary region. For this purpose, a tip tool guide apparatus 1000 is composed of a swivel support portion 100, a slide table 200, and a manipulator 300. The swivel support portion 100 is self-supported and fixed within the water chamber, and turns the slide table 200 connected thereto. The slide table 200 connects the manipulator 300, and moves the manipulator 300 slidingly in a fore-and-aft direction. The manipulator 300 grasps the tip tool at its leading end. For bringing into the water chamber, the swivel support portion 100, the slide table 200, and the manipulator 300 are separated from each other, brought in individually, and assembled within the water chamber to constitute the tip tool guide apparatus 1000.

摘要: Aims are to provide a tubular-body residual-stress improving apparatus and an adjustment method thereof capable of adjusting irradiation position with favorable reproducibility, even when an optical fiber is eccentric. In the tubular-body residual-stress improving apparatus, an optical control unit (5) includes a rotational hold mechanism (9) for holding an optical fiber (6) in a manner that the optical fiber (6) is rotatable in a circumferential direction of the optical fiber (6), and, if a position of an intensity peak of the laser beam from the optical fiber (6) in an axial direction of the tubular body (2) is offset from the center of an irradiation profile, a position at which the optical fiber (6) is held in the circumferential direction is adjusted by the rotational hold mechanism (9) so as to eliminate the offset or to minimize an influence of the offset.

摘要: An aim is to provide a tubular-body residual-stress improving apparatus capable of reducing irradiation on unnecessary areas by controlling the optical paths of laser beams. In the tubular-body residual-stress improving apparatus, an optical control unit (5C) includes one pair of mirrors (21, 22) being disposed at a final stage of an optical system for a plurality of laser beams (P1-Pn) to be sharable and disposed in such a way that the mirrors are placed respectively at both sides, in the circumferential direction of the tubular body (2), of a final optical path of the laser beams to the tubular body (2), and another pair of mirrors (23, 24) being disposed at final stage of the optical system for the laser beams at both ends and disposed in such a way that the mirrors are placed respectively at both sides, in an axial direction of the tubular body (2), of final optical paths of the laser beams at both ends to the tubular body (2). Two pairs of mirrors (21-24) reflect inwards a skirting portion of the corresponding laser beam in the circumferential and axial direction of the tubular body (2) so as to irradiate the tubular body (2) with the laser beams.
