    摘要: A disk carrying device and an optical disk recording/reproducing device. The disk carrying device comprises a first idle gear rotatably supported on a lower chassis and a second idle gear rotatingly operated by coming into contact with or separating from the first idle gear. The second idle gear and a roller gear meshed with the second idle gear are rotatably supported on a feed plate, and the second idle gear is brought into contact with or separated from the first idle gear, from the underside, which is rotatably supported on the lower chassis. By this, when a disk is inserted, a downward force F1 acts on the second idle gear, and the pressing force of a feed roller on the disk (D) is decreased and, therefore, the rotating load of a disk carrying motor can be reduced when the carrying of the disk is completed. When the disk is discharged, an upward force F2 acts on the second idle gear and the pressing force of the feed roller on the disk (D) is increased and, therefore, the disk (D) can be smoothly discharged even if the disk (D) is deflected.

    摘要: Herein disclosed is an optical disc driving apparatus adapted to selectively drive two kinds of optical discs different in diameter from each other to reproduce information recorded in the optical disc while reading out information in the optical disc. The optical disc driving apparatus comprises: a housing formed with a loading slot having the optical disc pass therethrough; a turntable for retaining the optical disc and, the turntable being supported by the housing and having a center axis, the turntable being driven to rotate around the center axis with the optical disc and being retained by the turntable to reproduce information recorded in the optical disc while reading out information in the optical disc; a guide plate positioned within the housing in the vicinity of the loading slot and supported by the housing, the guide plate having an inner surface contactable with the optical disc to guide the optical disc toward the turntable until the optical disc is retained by the turntable after being partly passed through the loading slot; a rotation shaft having a center axis and supported by the housing with the center axis being in parallel relationship with the inner surface of the guide plate and with the inner surface of the guide plate extending toward the turntable, the rotation shaft having three different longitudinal portions including first and second side portions axially spaced apart from each other, and a spacer portion intervening between the first and second side portions, the first and second side portions being tapered toward the spacer portion; and driving means for driving the rotation shaft to have the rotation shaft rotate around the center axis to ensure that the optical disc is conveyed toward the turntable by the rotation shaft while the optical disc is being guided by the guide plate.

    摘要: In a disk carrying device including a first idle gear rotatably supported by a lower chassis and a second idle gear for contacting and separating from the first idle gear to perform a rotation operation, the second idle gear and a roller gear meshing therewith are rotatably supported by a feed plate to cause the second idle gear to contact and separate, from below, from the first idle gear rotatably supported by the lower chassis. Because of this configuration, in disk insertion, a downward force F1 acts on the second idle gear and a pushing pressure of the feed roller to a disk D decreases. In disk ejection, an upward force F2 acts on the second idle gear and the pushing pressure of the feed roller to the disk D increases.

    摘要: A disc reproducing device has a lock pin for positioning a small-diameter disc inserted into the device in a reproducing position by being loaded by a spring with a force that rotates it about a horizontal shaft, a lock plate for locking the lock pin in a protruding state in the normal state, and a disc detecting lever, locked by being pressed by the outer periphery of a large-diameter disc inserted, for moving the lock plate horizontally with its front end so as to lock and unlock the lock pin. The lock pin in its unlocked state is rotated by being pressed by the large-diameter disc, and, after the largest dimensioned portion of the large-diameter disc passes over the disc detecting lever, the lock plate returns to its original position to lock the lock pin in its falling-down state. With this construction, either an 8-cm-diameter disc or a 12-cm-diameter disc can be reproduced simply by inserting the disc into the device without using an adopter dedicated to an 8-cm-diameter disc.
