摘要: An image forming device includes a sheet carrying body carrying a sheet thereon in a predetermined direction, a pattern selecting unit selecting one of a plurality of patterns that includes a first pattern and a second pattern, the first pattern including a plurality of marks aligned at intervals of a predetermined distance within a first range, the second pattern including a plurality of marks aligned at intervals of a predetermined distance within a second range shorter than the first range, a forming unit configured to form the selected pattern on the sheet carrying body and form an image on the sheet being carried on the sheet carrying body, a deviation determining unit determining a positional deviation of the image based upon the pattern formed, and a correcting unit performing positional deviation correction for the image to be formed on the sheet based upon the positional deviation determined.

The data-writing unit writes the read additional data to a second storing member of a recording medium. A duplication-performing unit performs a plurality of duplication processes including at least an image/data-duplication process in which the duplication-performing unit forms the read image on a first recording medium having a storing member and writes the read data to the storing member of the first recording medium, and a data-duplication process in which the duplication-performing unit writes the read data to the storing member of the first recording medium without forming the read image on the first recording medium. A receiving unit receives an image/data-duplication instruction and a data-duplication instruction. The duplication-performing unit performs the image/data-duplication process if the receiving unit receives the image/data-duplication instruction, and performs the data-duplication process if the receiving unit receives the data-duplication instruction.

The transmission device includes a transmitting unit that transmits image data, command data instructing to form an image corresponding to the image data on a recording medium having a storing part and to write embedded data to the storing part, and first selection data indicating whether or not the image should be formed when the embedded data cannot be written in the storing part. The image-forming device includes an image-forming unit and a controlling unit. The controlling unit controls, when the image-forming unit cannot write the embedded data in the storing unit, the image-forming unit to form the image if the first selection data indicates that the image should be formed, and to fail to form the image if the first selection data indicates that the image should not be formed.

摘要: A printer may be provided with a receiving device, a housing portion, a print device, a detecting device, a determination device, and a controller. The receiving device receives a print job including print data and type information specifying the type of print medium. The housing portion houses a print medium that has not been printed. The print device executes a print process that prints an image corresponding to the print data included in the print job on the type of print medium specified by the type information included in the print job. The detecting device detects whether the housing portion is housing the type of print medium specified by the type information included in the print job. The determination device determines whether the print process based on the print job has been started. The controller controls the print device based on information detected by the detecting device and information determined by the determination device.
