Abstract:
A processor receives a print job, identifies possible extension marking materials to use to print the print job, and optimizes the order in which the extension marking materials will be used in multiple printing passes. A user interface outputs instructions to insert, into a receptacle, a first interchangeable supply container containing a first extension marking material that is in addition to base marking materials. A printing engine prints first markings (using the first extension marking material) that comprise a first portion of the print job. The user interface outputs instructions to return the partially printed print media to a sheet supply and to insert a second interchangeable supply container containing a second extension marking material. The printing engine prints second markings (using the second extension marking material) that comprise a second portion of the print job, on the partially printed print media, to produce the finally printed print media.
Abstract:
A communication arrangement including a room having at least one communication device therein, the at least one communication device receiving in-room images, in-room video and/or in-room audio within the room. The communication arrangement also includes a communication system for transmitting the in-room images, in-room video and/or in-room audio from within the room to a location remote from the room. The communication system has a privacy setting that, when activated, prevents viewing of the in-room images or in-room video and/or hearing of the in-room audio from within the room at the location remote from the room and communicates to the location remote from the room that the privacy setting is activated.
Abstract:
A method and system for producing a single view video signal based on a multiview video coding (MVC) signal stream. A MVC signal stream representing multiple spatially related views of a scene, including a base view and at least one dependent view, is decoded to provide multiple decoded video signals representing the spatially related views, with respective portions of the MVC signal stream representing one of multiple temporally adjacent video frames, and the MVC signal stream representing multiple sequences of spatially adjacent video frames. The decoded video signals are processed to provide a processed video signal representing one of the spatially related views using image information from more than one of the decoded video signals. As a result, more image data is used during processing, thereby improving the spatial and temporal image quality.
Abstract:
A dual-aperture zoom camera comprising a Wide camera with a respective Wide lens and a Tele camera with a respective Tele lens, the Wide and Tele cameras mounted directly on a single printed circuit board, wherein the Wide and Tele lenses have respective effective focal lengths EFLW and EFLT and respective total track lengths TTLW and TTLT and wherein TTLW/EFLW>1.1 and TTLT/EFLT
Abstract:
A mark irradiation unit (130) irradiates an object with a mark. An image capture unit (140) captures an image of the object, and generates image data. Then, an image capture area data generation unit recognizes a position of the mark in the object, and cuts out image capture area data which is apart of the image data on the basis of the mark. For this reason, the mark irradiation unit (130) irradiates the object with the mark, and thus even when a positioning symbol is not printed on the object to be stored as the image data, only a necessary portion in the image data is cut out.
Abstract:
A pixel array module with a self-test function including a test circuit unit, a plurality of test lines, and a pixel array is provided. The test circuit unit provides the self-test function. The test lines are connected between the test circuit unit and the pixel array. The pixel array is connected to the test circuit unit through the test lines and includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a transistor. Each transistor has a first terminal and a second terminal. Regarding each of the pixels, a driving signal of the transistor is transmitted from the first terminal to the second terminal thereof under a normal mode, and a test signal of the transistor is transmitted from the second terminal to the first terminal thereof under a test mode. Furthermore, a self-test method of the foregoing pixel array module is also provided.
Abstract:
A wireless communication device operable as a digital image capturing device (wireless digital camera) may be used to associate processing information with a captured image. The wireless communication device may communicate information to a network server, such as a WAP server and/or a process server for processing. A process associated with the communicated information is identified and initiated to process the information.
Abstract:
A body of an electronic camera comprises a grip portion and a passage portion. The rear of the electronic camera is provided with a power button, a decision button, mode buttons, a retracting lever and an electronic viewfinder. The top of the electronic camera is provided with a release button. The grip portion contains a battery being as a power source, and a movable image display sheet wound around the periphery thereof. The movable image display sheet is drawn out of the camera body to display images at a usage time. When the movable image display sheet is retracted, the electronic viewfinder is activated and the movable image display sheet is deactivated. When the movable image display sheet is extracted, the electronic viewfinder is deactivated and the movable image display sheet is activated.
Abstract:
The invention provides a television reception circuit wherein a front end circuit of a television receiver is integrated and outputting of an image frequency is suppressed. The television signal reception circuit comprises an integrated circuit which in turn includes an automatic gain circuit for controlling a level of an input signal, first and second frequency mixture circuits to which an output of the automatic gain circuit is inputted, a &pgr;/2 phase shifting circuit for supplying local oscillation frequencies having a phase difference of &pgr;/2 from each other to the first and second frequency mixture circuits, first and second &pgr;/4 phase shifting circuits for shifting phases of outputs of the first and second frequency mixture circuits by +&pgr;/4 and −&pgr;/4, respectively, and an addition circuit for adding outputs of the first and second &pgr;/4 phase shifting circuits. The television signal reception circuit outputting a television signal inputted to the integrated circuit through a variable frequency tuning circuit as an intermediate frequency signal. Also an automatic phase shift control circuit and an equal amplitude addition circuit suitable for use with a television signal reception circuit are disclosed.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a transport unit, a transfer unit and a support unit. The transport unit transports a recording medium. The transfer unit transfers an image formed with particles onto an image formation surface of the recording medium transported by the transport unit by an electric field formed between the transfer unit and the image formation surface by making contact with the image formation surface. The support unit supports the recording medium, is transported to the transfer unit together with the recording medium by the transport unit, and is not directly conductive with the transfer unit.
