Tantalum powder in the present invention can be characterized in that the CV value is from 200,000 to 800,000 μFV/g, when measured by the following measuring method. Pellets are produced by forming tantalum powder such that the density is 4.5 g/cm3, then the pellets are chemically converted in a phosphoric acid aqueous solution of concentration 0.1 vol. % at a voltage of 6V and a current of 90 mA/g, and the chemically converted pellets are used as measuring samples to measure the CV value in a sulfuric acid aqueous solution of concentration 30.5 vol. % at a temperature of 25° C. under a frequency of 120 Hz and a voltage of 1.5V.

    摘要: A product obtained by granulating an enzyme powder must avoid emitting dust, possess high strength, exhibit the property of quickly dissolving in water where such ready solution is necessary for the intended application, defy absorption of moisture or deformation for a long time, and preserve without a sacrifice of activity. The method of this invention produces granules of raw enzyme powder possessed of the qualities mentioned above by admixing the enzyme powder with polyethylene glycol or polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block polymer of specific quality as a binder and granulating by agitating the resulting combination at a temperature not lower than the melting point of the binder. This method is suitable for production of enzyme-containing granules for use in detergents, medicines, etc.

    摘要: A process and system for producing tantalum or other valve metal particles is provided comprising forming tantalum particles in a reduction process carried out in a reactor vessel, and using a siphon to transfer fine tantalum particles out of the reaction mixture to a recovery vessel. This particle transfer can occur while the reaction mixture is agitated. The tantalum particles can be automatically withdrawn when the reaction mixture has a depth level greater than the fluid level of the tantalum fine particle recovery vessel, and outflow automatically stops when the fluid levels of the reactor and particle recovery vessel equilibrate. Tantalum or other valve metal powders made by the processes, and capacitors made with valve metal powders are also provided.
