摘要: Record sheets on which an image is formed on the basis of image data supplied from a terminal apparatus, are efficiently discharged to a bin. A post-process section of a digital copier which is used in conjunction with at least first to third computers includes first to third bins, fourth and fifth bins, and a sixth bin, respectively, which are designated for the first, second, and third computers. To each of the bins, a priority of discharging to the bin a record sheet which is to be discharged to another bin is assigned. The section is configured so that, for each of the bins, the number of record sheets housed in the bin can be detected. For example, a record sheet on which an image due to the third computer is drawn is usually housed in the sixth bin. If the sixth bin is full, the record sheet is discharged to one of bins which are not the sixth bin and which are not the first and fourth bins respectively dedicated to the first and second computers, i.e., one of the second, third, and fifth bins.

摘要: Structure is provided to efficiently discharge sheets outputted from an image forming apparatus to a plurality of bins. In a copier, for an original supplied from a document feeder, an image forming apparatus forms an image on a sheet supplied from a sheet feeder, and the sheet is discharged through a sheet discharging port. A sheet outputting apparatus receives discharged sheets through a sheet receiving port. In accordance with information of a job relating to the sheets copied supplied through an operation panel, a control unit causes the sheets to be distributed to be discharged to a plurality of bins. The number of acceptable sheets to each bin is detected by a detecting device. A control unit controls discharge of sheets to that the number of bins is a minimum, so that discharge to bins is easily conducted in a subsequent copying job.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide an energy-saving image forming apparatus capable of fixing toner in a reliable manner to enhance the quality of images, control the temperature of toner residue to reuse the toner in a reliable manner, and reduce the power consumption of the apparatus. In a copier, a photoconductive drum carries a toner image to be transferred to a recording medium, a heater of a fixing unit fixes the transferred toner image on the recording medium, and a cleaning unit removes toner residue on the photoconductive drum after transfer. The whole copier is covered with a housing, a first ventilation system ventilates the inside and outside of the housing, and a controlling section regulates the amount of ventilation by the first ventilation system in accordance with an output from a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the cleaning unit. As a result, it is possible to effectively reuse the collected toner and ensure excellent quality images.

摘要: A post-processing apparatus of a digital image forming apparatus includes first and second bins for storing recorded matter which was output from the digital image forming apparatus and distributed to the respective bins based on image information data such as the name of data contained in the image information relating to the recorded matter. Each of the first and second bins has a display device for displaying the image information data corresponding to recorded matter to be stored in the respective bins, such as the sender of facsimile, the name of data and the name of client who output the data. By displaying on the bins the image information data belonging to the recorded matter, such as the sender of facsimile, the name of data and the name of client who output the data, the operator can easily find the target recorded matter.

摘要: An apparatus for heating a ceramic by microwave power. The apparatus has a cavity resonator in which the ceramic is placed. The resonator is provided with a variable iris. The apparatus detects the temperature of the ceramic or other state of the ceramic, and adjusts the area of the opening in the iris in the resonator and the resonant frequency of the resonator according to the signal produced by the detection, in order to bring the resonator substantially into resonance and the degree of coupling to exactly or nearly unity. Alternatively, the apparatus adjusts its microwave power for these purposes. The apparatus can heat the ceramic efficiently at a desired heating rate.

摘要: Pile articles, such as artificial furs, wherein at least a part of piles is colored in at least two kinds of colorations which vary in the length direction of the piles, said color variation being caused on level surfaces distant substantially constantly from a substrate fabric of said pile articles over a broad area of said pile articles, are produced by rotating a fibrous structure having piles fixed on a rotating body to raise the piles owing to centrifugal force caused by the rotation and contacting the raised piles with a treating liquid for fibers retained in a rotary container wherein a cylindrical interface of the treating liquid is formed due to the centrifugal force. The pile articles wherein the piles are uniformly gradationally colored in the length direction of the piles are also produced by gradually moving the above described level surface.

摘要: Multi-component mixed filament, wherein at least two spinning materials having poor affinity are mixed and dispersed in unitary filament in a nebular configuration containing at least 50 stars at least in one portion of the cross-section of the filament and the nebular configuration continues substantially in the longitudinal direction of the filament is manufactured by subjecting said spinning materials to at least eight times of "joining and dividing step in different phase" repeatedly to layer-multiply said spinning materials so as to form a nebular configuration in the cross-section of the resulting filament and then extruding the resulting mixture from orifice in a spinneret. In this manufacture, the preferable combinations of said two spinning materials having poor affinity are polyamide-polyester, polyamide-polyalkylne oxide, polyester-polyalkylene oxide and polyamide-polyolefin.
