    摘要: A spectrum analyzer in which automatic setting of parameters such as band width is done by the analyzer without manual operator input and noise measurements are determined and displayed to the operator. This is accomplished by an input signal being supplied to a frequency mixer via an input variable attenuator. The frequency of the input signal is mixed with the frequency of a local signal from a frequency sweep generator. The mixed signal is then supplied to a band pass filter and the output of the filter is amplified by an amplifier. The frequency of the amplified output is mixed with the frequency of a local signal from a local oscillator by a frequency mixer. The intermediate frequency signal is taken out by a band pass filter and the output is detected by a detector. The detected output is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter after passing through a low pass filter and the digital signal is stored in a buffer memory. A CPU sets an attenuation amount. The CPU also controls a frequency sweep generator by controlling a ramp voltage generator through a timing controller. The CPU sets a sweep frequency band, a band width RBW, a band width VBW, and a sampling period, as well as a display control of the data stored in the buffer memory on a display unit.

    摘要: The device of the present invention is used to measure the intensity of a disturbing wave and measures an average value of impulsive noise. The invention permits accurate and short-time measurements. Impulsive noise, which is input via a variable attenuator, a frequency converter, an intermediate-frequency amplifier and a band-pass filter of a 9 or 120 kHz pass frequency, is provided to a linear detector. The detected output is applied to a low-pass filter which is composed of CR elements and whose cut-off frequency is tens of kilohertz. By the low-pass filter, the peak value of the detected output is lowered and its width is increased. The filter output is converted by an A-D converter to a digital signal. Digital values at respective sample points in the digital signal of one frame are added by an arithmetic circuit, and the added value is divided by the number of samples to obtain an average value, which is displayed.

    摘要: A method for automatically setting a reference level is provided. A frequency-converted output of frequency converter 13 is branched and the branched output is further frequency-converted by another frequency converter 33. The thus frequency-converted signal is converted to a digital signal by an AD converter 31 and the digital signal is once stored in a memory 35. The digital data is read out from the memory 35 and a check is made to see if the AD converter 31 was overflown. If the AD converter 31 was overflown, an attenuation amount of a first stage attenuator 12 is increased from an initially set value to acquire a data again. If the AD converter 31 was not overflown, a check is made to see if a peak value of the digital data is within a range of 85%-65% of the full scale of the AD converter 31. If a peak value of the digital data is not within the range of 85%-65% of the full scale, a calculation is performed to increase/decrease the gain of an amplifier 15. If a peak value is within the range, this value is set as a reference level.

    摘要: A frequency spectrum analyzer includes a display for showing frequency spectrums in a frequency domain versus power level form, a local oscillator which is driven by a sweep signal to repeatedly cause a frequency sweep of a local signal wherein the local oscillator and the display operate in synchronism with the sweep signal, an intermediate frequency filter whose center frequency is an intermediate frequency for transmitting intermediate frequency signals, a frequency mixer for mixing an input signal to be measured and the local signal and generating the intermediate frequency signals whose frequency is a difference of the input signal and fundamental and harmonic components of the local signal, a detector for rectifying the intermediate frequency signal from the intermediate frequency filter wherein an output of the detector shows frequency spectrums of a true frequency spectrum of the input signal and image spectrums produced by the mixer, a sweep offset control for alternately causing a frequency shift in the frequency sweep in the local signal wherein the frequency shift is equal to f.sub.if2 .times.2/N, where f.sub.if2 is the intermediate frequency and N is a harmonic number of the local signal, and an image removal processor for monitoring the output of the detector and identifying the true frequency spectrum of the input signal and the image spectrums on the basis of positional changes between the frequency sweep without the frequency shift and the frequency sweep involving the frequency shift in the local signal.
