摘要： An improved process for the production of polytetramethylene ether glycol is disclosed. Polytetramethylene ether glycol is obtained with a high yield by subjecting tetrahydrofuran to ring opening polymerization in the presence or absence of an organic solvent with the use of, as a catalyst, a lithium halide in conjunction with fuming sulfuric acid. Average molecular weight of the glycol product can be controlled in the range of 1000-3000 at will by varying the amounts of the lithium halide and fuming sulfuric acid used.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a granule containing physiologically-active substance which comprises at least(A): a physiologically-active substance;(B): a substance which is stable under neutral condition but disintegrates or dissolves at a pH of 3 or less; and(C): at least one substance selected from the group consisting of straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated monocarboxylic acids having at least 14 carbon atoms and salts thereof, animal fats having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or higher, vegetable fats having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or higher and waxes having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or higher, and which granule further has a protective film comprising at least said substances (B) and (C) on the surface thereof. The protective film has a thickness of preferably at most 20% of the granular diameter and is preferably at least composed of at least 10% by weight of the substance (B) and at most 90% by weight of the substance (C). Granules having this specific protective film on the surface thereof have the use as a feed additive composition. A method for preparing said granules is also disclosed.

摘要： The present invention relates to a novel polyol obtained by using a specified polyhydric alcohol, polyoxyalkylene polyol, aliphatic amine and/or alkamlamine as a raw material and adding an organic polycarboxylic acid or its anhydride and an alkylene oxide; a polyurethane resin prepared from said novel polyol and an organic polyisocyanate; a rigid polyurethane foam prepared by using a hydrochlorofluorocarbon or hydrofluorocarbon foaming agent which has very low public hazards; and a composite utilizing thereof.The production of rigid polyurethane foam by using the polyol of the invention can be carried out in good operation efficiency and low public hazards. Additionally, properties of the foam thus obtained is equivalent to those of rigid polyurethane foams obtained by using conventional chlorofluorocarbons. Consequently, the rigid polyurethane foam of the invention is very useful for insulation materials and structural insulation materials.

摘要： A vehicular shift lever device wherein a path of movement of a shift lever is defined by a guide slot having a corner portion which has an angle of bend of about 90° and which corresponds to an intermediate position of the shift lever that is spaced apart from a parking position in a select direction and from another operating position in a shift direction perpendicular to the select direction, the guide slot having a first guide surface and a second guide surface which define a width in the shift direction of a portion of the guide slot between first and second positions respectively corresponding to the parking and intermediate positions, the first guide surface being more distant in the shift direction than the second guide surface from a third position corresponding to the another operating position, and being inclined with respect to the select direction such that the width of the above-indicated portion of the guide slot decreases from a value at the first position which is larger than a diameter of the shift lever, to a value at the second position, as the portion extends in the select direction from the first position to the second position.
