摘要： The invention is related to a swash plate compressor in which the wear resistance and the lubricating ability of the surfaces of the swash plate which are in contact with the shoes can be enhanced and maintained for a long period of time. In the swash plate compressor, a soft surface coating 21 is formed on sliding surfaces of any of a swash plate or shoes and the coarseness at ten point mean roughness of the surface of the substrate is made to be 8 &mgr;mRz or less, and preferably 5 &mgr;mRz or less, and more preferably 3 &mgr;mRz or less. Even if the soft surface coating 21 is partially worn or exfoliated by a sliding load, since the temperature of the soft surface coating 21 is increased by frictional heat and the soft surface coating 21 is fluidized, the worn or exfoliated portions are repaired. The soft surface coating 21 is preferably composed of a coating layer containing molybdenum disulfide.

摘要： A swash plate (3, 18) included in a swash plate type compressor for compressing a refrigerant is made of an aluminum alloy as a base material. Sliding contact surfaces (3a, 18a) of the swash plate (3, 18) in sliding contact with shoes (7, 19) linking the swash plate (3, 18) to pistons (6, 17) are coated with a film of a solid lubricant containing at least one lubricating material selected from molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide and graphite by a transfer method. Therefore, the performance of the film and the productivity thereof are improved.

When the rotation-preventive interfering surfaces (6d) of the pistons (6) come into impulsive contact with the outer circumference (3b) of the swash plate (3), the outer circumference (3b) of the swash plate (3) is coated with a lubricating film.

The inclined guide surface is formed by a single flat surface or two flat surfaces, or in a recessed shape.

摘要： Swash plate type compressor including a cylinder block having cylinder bores arranged along a circle, a drive shaft aligned with the circle, a swash plate rotated with the drive shaft, and single-headed pistons each including a head portion engaging the cylinder bore, and a neck portion engaging the swash plate, and wherein each piston is reciprocated by the swash plate rotated by the drive shaft, and the head portion includes a circular body portion, and an outer sliding portion and an inner sliding portion which are disposed between the body portion and the neck portion and which slidably engage respective circumferential portions of the cylinder bore which correspond to respective radially outer and inner portions of the cylinder block. Length from the end face of the body portion to the remote end of the inner sliding portion is larger than the corresponding length of the outer sliding portion. The inner sliding portion has a distal sliding part spaced from the end face by at least 40% of the entire piston length and having a central angle of not larger than 120° and a length of at least 5% of the entire piston length.
