    摘要: In a shadow mask color cathode ray tube, its shadow mask is not easily deformed into a concave shape when an impact or a vibration is applied to the shadow mask, so that a good image can be displayed. The electron beam passing holes of the shadow mask are each formed of an upper hole etched from the panel side of the shadow mask and a lower hole etched from the electron-gun side of the shadow mask. In each electron beam passing hole located in the peripheral portion of the shadow mask, the ratio of an upper-side etching quantity to a lower-side etching quantity is controlled to be 1.8 or less. By adjusting the balance in strength relative to compressive stresses between the panel side and the electron-gun side of the shadow mask, it is possible to prevent the shadow mask from being deformed into a concave shape.

    摘要: A short-circuiting member for preventing a commutator from being elongated in the axial direction without increasing the types of different components. Each component includes outer circumference terminals arranged along an outer circumference, inner circumference terminals arranged along an inner circumference, and connection portions connecting corresponding outer and inner circumference terminals that are separated from each other by a predetermined angle in a circumferential direction. The outer and inner circumference terminals are substantially formed along the same plane. The components are laminated in a state in which the connection portions of one of the components are reversed to the connection portions of another one of the components. The outer terminals adjacent in a lamination direction are in contact with each other, the inner terminals adjacent in the lamination direction are in contact with each other, and the connection portions that are adjacent in the lamination direction are not in contact with each other.

    摘要: A commutator connected to armature coils includes circumferentially arranged segments, short-circuit conductors, and a surge absorbing element. The number of the segments is a multiple of the number of the armature coils. The segments include a plurality of pairs of segments. The segments in each pair are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. Each segment in each pair is connected to one of the ends of corresponding one of the armature coils. The number of the short-circuit conductors is the same as the number of the armature coils. Each short-circuit conductor short-circuits segments that are at the same potential to each other. Each short-circuit conductor is connected, either directly or via corresponding one of the segments, to the surge absorbing element, so that the surge absorbing element is electrically interposed between the ends of each armature coil.

Each permanent magnet is asymmetrical with respect to a line passing through the symmetry center and extending in an axial direction of the yoke. Accordingly, a dimension along the axial direction of the yoke in each permanent magnet decreases toward the outer side from a center part of the permanent magnet.

    摘要: Coils are provided on a plurality of tooth sections of a core. The coils are formed by successively winding a conductor on the tooth sections with at least one tooth section between each successive windings, such that each portion of the conductor extending between two tooth sections located with at least one tooth section therebetween forms a jumper wire extending in the circumferential direction of the core. A commutator has a plurality of claw portions projecting to the outside of the commutator. Each of the claw portions electrically connects one of a plurality of segments to one of the jumper wires. When the core and the commutator are attached to a rotary shaft, each claw portion is arranged at a position corresponding to one of the jumper wires as viewed in the axial direction of the rotary shaft.
