    摘要: Disclosed are a receiving device and a channel estimation method that are capable of using the amplitude information of a received signal to perform proper channel estimation. In the device, a detection section (102) extracts the amplitude information of the OOK modulation signal sequence in which a known CES (Channel Estimation Sequence) composed of data “0” and “1” is OOK (On Off Keying)-modulated to obtain a detected signal sequence. A “1”-detection section (1042) extracts only the sample value corresponding to the data “1” from the sample values of the detected signal sequence to obtain an extracted signal sequence. A correlation calculating section (1043) performs the correlation calculation between the extracted signal sequence and the CES. A propagation delay estimation section (1044) estimates the propagation delay amount of a CIR (Channel Impulse Response) from the correlation calculation. An amplitude coefficient estimation section (1045) estimates the amplitude coefficient of the CIR from the correlation calculation.

An orthogonal vector data sequence (152), which is generated by a demodulating part (111) from a received signal (150), for each symbol in the current modulation scheme is used to artificially generate a likelihood metric value (155) obtained in a case of using a second communication scheme, which has a larger number of modulation multi-values than the current communication scheme, to perform a signal point arrangement. An artificially decoding part (122) then uses the likelihood metric value (155) to perform an artificial error correction decoding process, a result of which (156) is then subjected to an error detecting process.

    摘要: By a simple computation, orthogonal errors from an orthogonal modulator and an orthogonal demodulator are separately corrected. Based on the amplitude of a demodulated signal, an orthogonal-error detection unit (320) detects orthogonal errors from an orthogonal modulation unit (140) and an orthogonal demodulation unit (230). Specifically, according to the distribution of transmission signal points on an I-Q plane, demultiplexers (321 and 322) in an orthogonal-error detection unit (320) separate a demodulated signal into a signal on the I-axis and a signal on the Q-axis. Zero-crossing detection units (325 and 326) detect the amplitudes of the separated signals at the intersection of the I- and Q-axes. The orthogonal-error detection unit (320) detects the orthogonal errors based on results from comparing the amplitudes at said intersection. A gain control unit (330) controls settings for a transmission orthogonal-error correction unit (120) and reception orthogonal-error correction unit (250) according to the detected orthogonal errors.
