    摘要: A state of charge of a battery (1) that drives a motor (6) is computed based on a discharge current measured by a current sensor (3) when the discharge current of the battery (1) does not exceed a rated discharge range of the battery (1). When the discharge current of the battery (1) exceeds the rated discharge range, the state of charge of the battery (1) is computed by estimating the discharge current of the battery (1) from a motor control signal, whereby current changes over a wide range can be found with good precision using the sensor (3), which has a narrow but high resolution measurable range, and the state of charge can be accurately detected.

A planetary gear set includes a first rotating element connected to the first motor generator, a second rotating element connected to the second motor generator, and a third rotating element connected to a drive wheel. A rotation control mechanism selectively restricts rotation of one of the first and second rotating elements of the planetary gear set to establish a fixed speed ratio mode, and releases the one of the first and second rotating elements to establish a variable speed ratio mode. A control unit is configured to control each operating state of the rotation control mechanism, the first motor generator, and the second motor generator, and configured to establish the variable speed ratio mode when a slip state of the drive wheel is detected in the fixed speed ratio mode.

    摘要: A hybrid vehicle control system is configured to use automatic braking to compensate for an excess or deficiency of a braking force available from the power train of a hybrid vehicle that occurs when the hybrid vehicle switches from an electric drive (EV) mode to a hybrid drive (HEV) mode when the accelerator pedal depressing amount is detected as being substantially zero. In particular, hybrid vehicle control system determines whether a power train braking force from the power train is sufficient to achieve a target braking force. If the power train braking force is sufficient to achieve the target braking force when an accelerator pedal depressing amount is detected as being substantially zero, then a wheel brake is activated to apply a wheel braking force against a wheel of the vehicle to maintain the target braking force.
