摘要： The card connector can adequately detect the state in which an electronic device such as a memory card to be inserted and removed is fitted, and saves the footprint for mounting the card connector. With this card connector, a card detection switch detects a state in which a memory card is fitted in an accommodating part of a housing through an insertion slot. The card detection switch has movable terminals and fixed terminals, and the movable terminals each have a card contact part which is displaced by being pressed by the memory card to be inserted, and a movable contact part which is displaced in a same direction as a direction in which card contact part is displaced following displacement of the card contact part. The fixed terminals are each arranged in the housing to project in a direction to interest the direction in which the movable contact part is displaced, and is slid against by the movable contact part when the movable contact part is displaced.

摘要： A connector adequately detects a state of an electronic component such as a memory card which is fitted in the connector by way of insertion, even when scrapes of a housing of the electronic component are produced due to insertion and removal of the electronic component which is fitted. In this connector (100), detecting parts (160A and 160B), which detect that a memory card (20) is fitted completely in an accommodating part (102) or detect whether or not data can be written in the memory card (20), have fixed terminals (162) and movable terminals (161). In the movable terminal (161), a card contacting part (163a) placed in the accommodating part (102) is pressed by the memory card (20), so that a movable contact part (164a) contacts and conducts with the fixed terminal (162). An isolating wall part (190) is provided between the contacting part (163a) and the movable contact part (164a) to isolate a contact area between the movable contact part (164a) and the fixed terminal (162), from the contacting area between the contacting part (163a) and the memory card (20).

摘要： A receptacle connector prevents a plug from being obliquely inserted with a simple configuration. Receptacle connector 100 has: a hollow rectangular shape shield case (120) which is made by machining a metal plate and which includes fitting slot 101; and a housing (110) which is covered by the shield case (120) and in which contacts (130) to be connected with terminal parts (230) of an inserted plug (200) are disposed. In the shield case (120), a projecting part (124) is formed extending along one side of the fitting slot (101) by denting an upper plate part (122), which defines the accommodating part (104) accommodating the plug (200), to project toward an accommodating region (104). An end surface (124a) of this projecting part (124) on the fitting slot (101) side is closer to the fitting slot (101) side than the contacts (130) and forms a plane orthogonal to the upper plate part (122).

In the shield case (110), a plurality of contacts (140A and 140B) are disposed along the insertion direction in the housing (120) and contact point parts (141) are aligned in a row in the direction orthogonal to the insertion direction. Lead parts (144) of contacts (140A and 140B) which are adjacent in the direction orthogonal to the insertion direction, project from rear surface (104) of the connector (100), alternately in the directions orthogonal to the insertion direction and the direction in which the contact point parts are aligned in a row.

摘要： A connector includes a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a restricting member. The contacts are made of a conductive material. Each of the contacts includes a contacting part and a deformed part. The contacting part protrudes from the housing, is adapted to electrically come in contact with another connector, and is displaced in a first direction when contacts the another connecter. The deformed part is accommodated in the housing and is elastically deformed when the contacting part electrically comes in contact with the another connector. The restricting member is provided in the housing, is contacted to the deformed part, and restricts a displacement of the deformed part in a direction opposite to the first direction.
