    摘要: An optical measurement instrument for living body that comprises: a plurality of light irradiation means for irradiating an object being tested with light; a plurality of light reception means for detecting the light that is irradiated to the object being tested and propagates inside the object being tested; and a calculation unit for calculating hemodynamics of a plurality of factors inside the object being tested from the detection signal detected by the light reception means, wherein the calculation unit comprises: a separation calculation unit for separating a plurality of signals from the detection signals; a selection unit for calculating a correlation coefficient between a plurality of the signals separated to select a signal in which a correlation coefficient is a predetermined value or greater as a noise signal; and a reconstruction calculation unit for reconfiguring the detection signal excluding the noise signal selected by the selection unit.

    摘要: A response period is determined arbitrarily. A satisfactory detecting ability may not be provided because of an artifact or the like contained in a signal. Therefore, an effective detection method and an effective display method of presenting results of detection must be developed. A series of tasks (stimuli) or a selected measurement signal is used as a reference signal, and a phase difference of any other measurement signal from the reference signal is calculated. The synchronousness of the phase of the measurement signal with the phase of the reference signal is numerically expressed. The thus obtained numerical value is statistically processed in order to numerically express a degree of reliability. Thus, a brain activity or a functional connectivity is visualized.

    摘要: A typical task assigned for measuring a brain activity signal lasts from 10 to 30 seconds. The frequency band of the Mayer wave noise signal is very close to the frequency bands of brain activity signals, a result, it is difficult to reduce the Mayer wave noise signal using a bandpass filter or a bandcut filter. Light irradiating units and light detecting units for detecting the emitted light that has been passed through or reflected within the tissue are provided. A biological signal measuring unit measures at least one of the pulsation, breathing, blood pressure, and temperature. The relationship between an optical signal obtained by the light detecting unit and a biological signal using non-linear analysis; and a computation for separating the biological noise signal from the optical signal on the basis of the obtained relationship.

    摘要: An image generating methodology for displaying brain activation areas with improved accuracy in a living body light measurement system for generating an image of the changes in blood volume of the brain. A spatial intensity distribution of changes in blood volume can be generated by detecting brain activation in many sampling points, and a spatial interpolation process is executed on this data. A threshold process is executed on the distribution to extract the distribution of coordinates having a signal intensity of at least the predetermined threshold. The displacement between the brain activation area and the maximal location of the distribution is stored in a recording unit of the system in order to compensate for the distribution extracted by the threshold process. Accordingly, brain activation areas can be estimated with greater location accuracy, and the diagnosis and medial treatment for brain diseases can likewise be executed with greater accuracy.

    摘要: Disclosed is an optical measurement apparatus for a living body to provide a means for measuring blood flow activity within a short time inside the body, even if the test subject cannot distinguish between the active task period and the rest period. An optical measurement apparatus for a living body comprises a light irradiating section, and a light detecting section for detecting light transmitting through or reflected from the interior of the body. The concentration of carbon dioxide gas taken into the body is controlled by the respiration of the test subject and the resulting change in output from the light detecting section is then evaluated.
