摘要: An automated part assembly machine has a work table supported to a base and movable relative thereto and at least two separate robots each having an end effector movable around within an individual work region. The two robots are positioned in such a relation as to give a common work region in which the individual work regions of the two robots overlap. A parts supply is arranged to the work table for storing parts to be picked-up by the robots. A plurality of operator hands are selectively and removably attached to the end effector of the robot for handling the parts by the robot. Disposed within the common region is a jig which positions the parts for assembly by the robot. The robots and the work table are controlled to operate in cooperation for assembly of the parts. The machine is characterized in that the robots are mounted on the movable work table together with the operator hands and the jig with the robots spaced in the moving direction of the work table, and that the parts supply extends in the moving direction of the work table. Thus, the robots are enabled to move together with the jig and the operator hands relative to the parts supply so that the robots can reach over a wide range of the parts supply beyond the individual work regions to thereby successfully pick-up suitable parts and transfer them to the jig for immediate assembly of the parts. Further, since the operator hands are on the movable work table, the robot can change the operator hands while moving relative to the parts supply for effecting the part assembly substantially without interruption, in addition to the advantage of enabling one robot to change the operator hand while the other robot is handling the parts.

摘要: Provided is a fuel cell including: a membrane electrode assembly (30) formed by joining an anode (32) to one surface of an electrolyte membrane (31) and joining a cathode (33) to another surface of the electrolyte membrane (31); a frame body (20) formed integrally with the membrane electrode assembly (30); and a pair of separators (40, 41) holding the membrane electrode assembly (30) and the frame body (20) therebetween. At least one pair of holding pieces (42, 43) holding the membrane electrode assembly (30) therebetween is formed in the pair of separators (40, 41). Positions of holding end portions (42a, 43a) of the pair of holding pieces (42, 43) are shifted from each other in a stacking direction of the fuel cell.

摘要: A fuel cell is provided with a membrane electrode assembly provided with a frame, both of which are sandwiched between two separators. The fuel cell is configured such that reactive gas is circulated between the frame and the separators. The frame and both separators each have manifold holes, the rims of the manifold holes of frame extend into the manifold holes in the separators, and protrusions cover the inner peripheral surfaces of the manifold holes in at least one of the separators. This structure makes possible the easy and accurate position and integration of the separators and the frame, and fuel cell miniaturization can be achieved because space to position the protrusions is not needed.

摘要: To generate hydrogen-rich gas which is supplied to a fuel cell stack (2) of a fuel cell power plant, a reformer (1) generates reformate gas comprising hydrogen from methanol, and a carbon monoxide oxidizer (3) oxidizes carbon monoxide from the reformate gas by an action of a catalyst incorporated therein. A valve (10) which supplies hot gas, and a valve (18) which supplies air are provided. When the catalyst temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature, hot gas is supplied from the valve (10) to the oxidizer (3). Due to the heat of oxidation of carbon monoxide by the air supplied by the valve (18) and the high temperature of the hot gas, the temperature of the catalyst rises rapidly after start-up of the power plant.

摘要: The invention provides a fuel cell (A1) in which a frame body (20) provided with a membrane electrode assembly (30) is sandwiched between a pair of separators (40, 41), and multiple projections (21) are arranged at given intervals on each of two surface sides of the frame body (20). Thus, a gas flow path (S1) for a hydrogen-containing gas is defined and formed on one surface side of the frame body (20) and a gas flow path (S2) for an oxygen-containing gas is defined and formed on the other surface side of the frame body (20). The projections (21) on the one surface side of the frame body (20) and the projections (21) on the other surface side of the frame body (20) are arranged asymmetrically with respect to the frame body (20) in a stacking direction (α) of the fuel cell.
