摘要: This disclosure relates generally to detection of concentration of micro and nano particles in a fluid environment. An acoustic transmitter array is selective coated with polymer and receiver array is deployed at a random location in a conduit. The acoustic transmitter array on the conduit is insonified at a predetermined frequency to obtain a plurality of reflected signals. A plurality of key features pertinent to the conduit are extracted from the plurality of reflected signals to obtain a plurality of acoustic signals. A correlation model is configured by inputting, at least one feature associated with the pre-processed acoustic signals. A known concentrations of nano and micro particles are trained with an artificial neural network algorithm and calibrated with ground truth data. The location of the transmitter array and receiver array and the correlation model are finalized for detecting concentration of the particular micro and nano particles in the fluid environment.

摘要: Recovery of rare earth elements (REEs) from electronic wastes is a promising approach. The existing methods for separation of REE from the secondary sources are not economically viable and scalable. A method and system for separation of rare earth metals from a plurality of secondary sources has been provided. The magnet is obtained from the secondary sources which is then crushed to a coarser size. The powder is then demagnetized by heating and roasted at high temperature to obtain the metal oxides. The metals oxides are then dissolved by acid leaching to obtain leach liquor. Iron is removed from leach liquor by precipitation and separated by filtration. The individual REE is then separated by liquid-liquid extraction. The conditions in liquid-liquid extraction are adjusted such that only desired REE is separated. The extracted REE is then stripped out by acid. The individual rare earth element is then precipitated and dried.

摘要: This disclosure relates generally to a system and method for monitoring and quality evaluation of perishable food items in quantitative terms. Current technology provides limited capability for controlling environmental conditions surrounding the food items in real-time or any quantitative measurement for the degree of freshness of the perishable food items. The disclosed systems and methods facilitate in quantitative determination of freshness of food items by utilizing sensor data and visual data obtained by monitoring the food item. In an embodiment, the system utilizes a pre-trained CNN model and a RNN model, where the pertained CNN model is further fine-tined while training the RNN model to provide robust quality monitoring of the food items. In another embodiment, a rate kinetic based model is utilized for determining reaction rate order of the food item at a particular post-harvest stage of the food item so as to determine the remaining shelf life thereof.

摘要: Conventional systems and methods limit their approaches for simpler stratum corneum (SC) model and approximated parameters and thus lacked in understanding of electroporation. Further, these approaches limit their capabilities to a specific phenomenon either molecular of macroscopic level permeation, and flux and cumulative release profiles could not be obtained using molecular models due to their limitations with respect to time and length scales. Conventional simulation studies also lack in designing electroporation experimental protocols which require selection of multiple pulse parameters. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for in-silico design of skin electroporation parameters; wherein skin lipids membrane are simulated for calculation of physical properties such as diffusion coefficient. Further, macroscopic diffusion is simulated during electroporation and flux and cumulative release profiles of actives are computed. The system of the present disclosure may be utilized as a design tool for selecting suitable electroporation protocol from factorial simulations.

摘要: This disclosure relates to portable speckle imaging system and method for automated speckle activity map based dynamic speckle analysis. The embodiments of present disclosure herein address unresolved problem of capturing variations in speckle patterns where noise is completely removed and dependency on intensity of variations in speckle patterns is eliminated. The method of the present disclosure provides a correlation methodology for analyzing laser speckle images for applications such as seed viability, fungus detection, surface roughness analysis, and/or the like by capturing temporal variation from frame to frame and ignoring the intensity of speckle data after denoising, thereby providing an effective mechanism to study speckle time series data. The system and method of the present disclosure performs well in terms of time efficiency and visual cues and requires minimal human intervention.

摘要: A method for synthesis of nanoparticles are described. The method includes dispersing metal oxide powder in a mixture of a base liquid and a surfactant to form a primary mixture, grinding the primary mixture using a grinding media by periodically adding a surfactant solution to form a slurry, extracting a predetermined amount of sample from the slurry at periodic time intervals to obtain a testing solution to assess particle size of in the slurry using a particle size analyzer; and systematically adding the surfactant solution and the grinding media to the slurry based on the assessed particle size in the testing solution until a mean particle size of the nanoparticles is achieved.

摘要: Owing to complexity of the algorithms and tools very few attempts have been seen for usage of simulation methods in the development of new electrolytes. Moreover, the existing simulation methods focus on only one aspect of the electrolyte at a time and this limits accuracy of simulation results, and affects performance of electrolyte in real world, where multiple factors come into play simultaneously. The method disclosed provides method and system for in-silico optimization and design of electrolytes, enabling prediction of various properties of an electrolytic mixture of salts, solvents and various additives and its suitability for a given battery technology. The in-silico method shapes itself into an overall battery electrolyte property or component composition analyzer based on the user input.
