A method of making a toothed belt. A toothed belt is made by guiding a strip of fabric to pass through a thermosetting resin to soak it with thermosetting resin, then the soaked fabric is guided to pass through a pair of toothed rollers to form a series of toothed grooves thereon, thereafter the fabric is guided to pass around a plane roller and simultaneously rubber material is fed into the space between the outer peripheral surface of the plane roller and said fabric. Then, the fabric is wound onto a cylindrical mold having corresponding toothed grooves thereon and its two ends are glued together to loop around the cylindrical mold, then reinforcing cords and rubber sheets are covered over the fabric. Finally, the rubber material is vulcanized to form a toothed belt. Fabrics treated by the method demonstrate considerately greater flexibility or extendibility to comply with bending when under operation. Furthermore, the tooth contour of the belt will be more accurate than conventional ones. Also, the two flat ends of each piece of the fabric are coated with a thin layer of rubber material which can also be used as an adhesive, this will facilitate the gluing of the two ends of each piece of fabric.

The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing slippery-proof foam materials having protruded threads, which comprises the steps of foaming Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) or EVA pellets into a foam material plate, attaching a high heat resisting mesh cloth onto the surface of the plate, heating the plate by a heating device to soften the material to an extent of being suitable for a plastic formation, rolling and pressing the plate by a rolling mold or a piece of mold having an even surface and a plurality of tiny grooves thereon, so that the section of the plate receiving a larger rolling and pressing force moves towards the section receiving a smaller rolling and pressing force, and then passes through the meshes of the high heat resisting mesh cloth under the condition of being held up by the high heat resisting mesh cloth to form evenly protruded threads on the surface thereof after being cooled immediately.

The present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing continuous foam from a thermoplastic elastomeric composite in atmosphere, which comprises the steps of using thermoplastic elastomer as a raw material, adding different composing agent, foaming agent, and crosslinking agent into the raw material, kneading and rolling the raw material for forming a continuous sheet by means of a conventional rubber continuous foaming device, baking the sheet in an oven, foaming the heated sheet in a normal pressure, and cooling the foamed sheet to produce the foam material of the present invention.

An air-permeable and water-permeable rubber includes by weight 100 parts of a rubber, about 30 to 80 parts of a plastic, about 1 to 5 parts of a cross-linking agent, about 1 to 10 parts of a vulcanizing agent, about 1 to 10 parts of a rubber accelerator, 0 to about 100 parts of a filler, and 0 to about 10 parts of an anti-aging agent. Such air-permeable and water-permeable rubber has excellent air-permeability, water-permeability, softness, and elasticity. The present invention also includes a method for producing the above rubber.

Threads are pressed on the surface of the foam sandwich structure by a roller to improve the slippery resistance of the foam material, which not only has high elasticity and slippery resisting property, but also creates a high tensile strength due to the fibers of the reinforced layer.
