摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for data burst volume indication for Time Sensitive Communication (TSC). In one embodiment, a method performed by Radio Access Network (RAN) node comprises receiving, from a core network (CN) node, one or more parameters, in additional to a maximum data burst volume (MDBV) parameter, that describe one or more data volume characteristics of a Quality of Service (QOS) flow. In this manner, compared to always assuming the worst-case scenario with the MDBV, the RAN node has a more accurate understanding of the traffic characteristics, which allows the RAN node to optimally schedule radio resources to cater to the data volume.

摘要: According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for transmitting a transport block comprises obtaining a first uplink aggregation factor. The first uplink aggregation factor is an integer value greater than one. The method further comprises obtaining a second uplink aggregation factor. The second uplink aggregation factor is an integer value greater than one and is different than the first uplink aggregation factor. The method further comprises: determining that a transport block is associated with a type of radio network temporary identifier (RNTI); selecting one of the first or second uplink aggregation factor based on the type of RNTI associated with the transport block; and transmitting the transport block on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) according to the selected uplink aggregation factor.

An exemplary method includes generating a set of payload bits to be encoded for transmission, wherein the set of payload bits includes at least one known bit, interleaving the set of payload bits to generate an interleaved set of payload bits, wherein the interleaved set includes the at least one known bit in a predetermined position in the interleaved set, providing the interleaved set to a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) encoder to generate CRC-interleaved set of payload bits, wherein the CRC-interleaved set includes the at least one known bit in a predetermined position within the CRC-interleaved set, and encoding the CRC-interleaved set for transmission to a wireless device. Associated network nodes and wireless devices are included.

In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises transmitting, to an access node, a signal for enhanced uplink timing estimation, wherein the signal occupies more or separate physical resources as compared to a corresponding signal transmitted for a purpose other than enhanced uplink timing estimation. The method further comprises receiving, from the access node, a message comprising timing-related information or clock time, responsive to transmitting the signal for enhanced uplink timing estimation. In this manner, the wireless communication network is able to meet enhanced timing error requirements, e.g., when inter-working with a Time Sensitive Network (TSN).

According to one aspect, a method, performed by a UE in a Fifth Generation (5G) network, comprises: receiving data to be transmitted as uplink (UL) transmissions in CG resources K number of times within a CG period; determining that the number of Transmission Occasions (TOs) remaining within the CG resources and within the CG period for the UE is less than K; and either: transmitting the data within the remaining TOs within the CG resources and also within TOs within shared resources such that the transmission is performed at least K number of times; waiting until the beginning of the next CG period to transmit K number of times within the CG resources; or transmitting the data within the remaining TOs within the CG resources with an increased power.

The method further comprises determining that an idle period associated to the particular COT is a valid idle period in which no transmissions to or from the radio node are to occur.

摘要: The application relates to the adaptation of the length of the cyclic redundancy check (CRC) code in the context of 3GPP NR. In 3GPP NR, the length of the uplink and downlink control information (UCI, DCI) significantly varies. Therefore, it is necessary to select a CRC code of appropriate size or length. Accordingly, a method (200) for use in a wireless transmitter comprises: determining an amount of data to transmit (212); determining a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) polynomial length based on the amount of data to transmit (214); encoding the data using a CRC of the determined polynomial length (216); and transmitting the encoded data (216). The data to transmit may not only comprise control channel data but also user data and may be encoded with a Polar code or a low-density parity check (LDPC) code.
