摘要: Techniques disclosed herein efficiently address prioritization by a UE regarding its reception behavior with respect to a configured downlink transmission that is overlapped by a dynamic assignment and/or the dynamic downlink transmission scheduled via the dynamic assignment. In at least one embodiment having applicability to operation of the UE in a communication network based on the 5G NR specifications, the techniques disclosed herein provide for predictable behavior by the UE as to when the UE prioritizes a configured Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) versus another PDSCH. Correspondingly, a radio network node may exploit the predictable behavior of the UE to override a configured PDSCH in favor of a dynamic PDSCH, by transmitting the Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) that schedules the dynamic PDSCH so that a timing relationship between the PDCCH and the configured PDSCH is satisfied.

摘要: A method performed by a wireless device configured with dual connectivity between a first group of cells and a second group of cells is provided. The method includes determining a limit of a power of transmission of a first uplink transmission in the first group of cells. The limit is determined based on an identified second uplink transmission in the second group of cells overlapping in time with the first uplink transmission. The method further includes setting the power of transmission for the first uplink transmission based on the limit. Methods performed by a first network node and/or a second network node are also provided.

摘要: There is provided a method of operating a wireless device, UE, in a communication network. The method includes transmitting, to the communication network, a first capability indication that indicates that the UE supports a maximum number of MIMO layers for a serving cell configuration on a carrier and the second capability indication that indicates that the UE supports a maximum number of MIMO layers for a bandwidth part, BWP, of the serving cell. The method further includes receiving a configuration that includes a first higher layer parameter associated with the maximum number of MIMO layers for a serving cell and a second higher layer parameter associated with the maximum number of MIMO layers for a specific BWP part of the serving cell, wherein the configuration is based on the first capability indication and the second capability indication. Furthermore, there is provided a UE, a RAN node and a method therefore.

摘要: Exemplary embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) to receive a wake-up signal (WUS) via downlink control information (DCI) transmitted by a network node in a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from the network node, and processing the received PDCCH to determine if it includes a DCI carrying a WUS targeted to the UE. The processing can include determining if a payload portion of the DCI is based on a first function of an identifier associated with the UE (e.g., C-RNTI) or with a group of UEs (e.g., WUG-RNTI). The processing can also include determining if a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) portion of the DCI is based on a second function of the identifier. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by a network node, and UEs or network nodes configured to perform the exemplary methods.

摘要: Embodiments include methods, performed by a network node in a wireless network, for managing energy consumption of user equipment (UEs) served by the network node. Such methods include transmitting, to a UE, a configuration including one or more time-domain resource allocations (TDRAs). The TDRAs include one or more first scheduling offsets and one or more second scheduling offsets between a scheduling message and a signal or channel scheduled via the scheduling message. A minimum value of the second scheduling offsets is greater than a minimum value of the first scheduling offsets. Such methods also include transmitting, to the UE, an indication of whether the UE should use the first scheduling offsets or the second scheduling offsets, and a first scheduling message that schedules a first signal or channel for the UE according to the indication. Embodiments also include complementary methods perform by UEs, as well as network nodes and UEs.

The network node sends to the wireless device a second control message for assigning a PDSCH, the second control message comprising a second MCS indication as described. The network node transmits the user data thereafter.

Such methods include acquiring a set of candidate configurations related to UE operation in the RAN and determining UE energy consumption information related to the set. The UE energy consumption information can include respective energy consumption metrics associated with the candidate configurations, and/or a relative priority of the candidate configurations with regards to UE energy consumption reduction. Such methods also include reporting at least a portion of the UE energy consumption information to the network node. Other embodiments include complementary methods, performed by a network node, that include selecting a particular candidate configuration, for the UE, based on the reported UE energy consumption information, and scheduling the UE for operation in the RAN according to the selected configuration.

摘要: Embodiments include methods, performed by a user equipment (UE), for receiving downlink (DL) data from a serving cell in a wireless network. Such methods include determining whether a total number of coded bits for all transport blocks (TBs) scheduled for the UE, by the wireless network in the serving cell during a plurality of consecutive symbols, is greater than a limited-buffer rate-matching (LBRM) threshold. The LBRM threshold is based on a maximum number of transmission layers, X, associated with the UE for the serving cell. Such methods also include receiving and decoding a plurality of TBs, comprising one or more DL data messages, when the total number of coded bits for all TBs (including the plurality of TBs) scheduled for the UE is not greater than the LBRM threshold. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by network nodes, and UEs and network nodes configured to perform such methods.
