摘要: Enabling a Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) player to fetch media segments from a network may comprise the steps of (i) receiving, from said network, a manifest comprising a representation base Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for indicating a location to said DASH player for fetching said media segments, a default representation base URI which is available in a default mode for fetching said media segments from a default content delivery network (CDN), a secondary representation base URI which is available in a secondary mode for fetching said media segments from a secondary CDN, (ii) transmitting, the manifest to said DASH player, and (iii) transmitting, to said DASH player, a ManifestModificationCommand message comprising one or more representation base URIs of any of said default representation base URI and said secondary representation base URI that are to modify a representation base URI in said manifest.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for multicast/broadcast service (MBS). A method performed by at a session management function (SMF) comprises receiving a session activation notification comprising a temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) from a multicast/broadcast session management function (MB-SMF). The method further comprises finding at least one user equipment (UE) that joined a MBS session identified by the TMGI. The method further comprises sending a MBS session notification request to an access and mobility function (AMF). The MBS session notification request includes a list of the at least one UE, respective identifier of respective protocol data unit (PDU) session associated to the MBS session of the at least one UE and the TMGI.

摘要: It is presented a method for enabling transmission of streaming content in a point to multipoint delivery. The method is performed in a radio network node of a cellular network. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a donor indication message from a wireless device in response to the wireless device receiving a donor command from an application server, the donor indication message indicating that the wireless device requests to be a donor device; setting up a point to multipoint delivery session; obtaining downlink data of streaming content destined for the donor device in a unicast delivery; transmitting the downlink data in a unicast delivery to the donor device; and transmitting a copy of the downlink data using the point to multipoint session, such that the downlink data can be received by a plurality of wireless devices being recipient devices.

摘要: A control node (140; 150) of a cellular network establishes one or more control plane sessions with a gateway node (160). On the basis of these one or more control plane sessions with the gateway node (160), the control node (140; 150) also establishes one or more control plane sessions with one or more radio access network nodes (112, 114; 122, 24) to control multicast transmissions by the one or more radio access network nodes (112, 14; 122, 124). Further, the control node (140; 150) detects a connection failure to the gateway node (160). When detecting the connection failure, the control node (140; 150) starts a first timer. Further, also the gateway node (160) detects the connection failure. When detecting the connection failure, the gateway node (160) starts a second timer. The second timer is configured with a longer duration than the first timer. In response to expiry of the first timer, the control node (140; 150) locally deletes the one or more control plane sessions with the gateway node (160) and with the one or more control plane sessions with the one or more radio access network nodes (112, 114; 122, 124). In response to expiry of the second timer, the gateway node (160) triggers a reaction to the connection failure by the gateway node (160), e.g., selection of an alternative control node.
