摘要: A method is disclosed performed by a second transceiver (140) of a packet based wireless communication network (100) for wireless communication with a first transceiver (130) of the network. The method comprises receiving, from the first transceiver (130), a data sequence comprising a first data field comprising data coded with a first modulation and coding scheme, MCS, and a second data field comprising data coded with a second MCS different from the first MCS, wherein the second transceiver (140) has information indicating that the data of the first data field is coded with the first MCS and the data of the second data field is coded with the second MCS. The method further comprises performing a decoding operation on the data of the first data field using the first MCS and a decoding operation on the data of the second data field using the second MCS, and selecting the first MCS or the second MCS based on a result of the performed decoding operations. Thereby a most suitable MCS can be efficiently found for communication between a first and a second transceiver.

The method includes assigning a first transmission slot to a first wireless device for a scheduled transmission with a priority access to the first transmission slot for the first wireless device, detecting during the first transmission slot that the first wireless device is currently not transmitting data in the assigned first transmission slot, and transmitting an indication to at least a subset of the plurality of wireless devices indicating that at least a time range in the first transmission slot until an end of the first transmission slot is available to the plurality of wireless devices for a data transmission using a random access procedure.

摘要: A packet format is disclosed for transmission of data packets over a communication channel, wherein transmission of one of the data packets utilizes a frequency bandwidth, and wherein the frequency bandwidth is dynamically variable between data packets. The packet format defines a frequency bandwidth detection field, wherein the frequency bandwidth detection field of a data packet has a first field content or a second field content, and wherein corresponding parts of the first and second field contents are orthogonal to each other. The first field content is indicative of that transmission of the data packet utilizes a first frequency bandwidth and the second field content is indicative of that transmission of the data packet utilizes a frequency bandwidth which is larger than the first frequency bandwidth. Corresponding methods and apparatuses for transmission/reception of data packets are also disclosed.

The transmitter further comprises a spreading unit configured to spread the symbols received from the bit to symbol mapper to a chip sequence by means of a spreading code. The transmitter further comprises a re-mapping unit configured to map the chip sequence received from the spreading unit to produce signals for providing to the modulator.
