Abstract: A solar table mobile transport with sideshift capability is described that moves a solar table to a point of installation. The solar table mobile transport comprises multiple motors that allow movement within a three-dimensional coordinate system as well as provide angular controls of pitch, yaw, and roll. Extended horizontal movement of the solar table is provided by a sideshift element that extends the solar table beyond an edge of a transport component of the solar table mobile transport. The mobile transport may incorporate wings to prevent the solar table from rotating during transportation. The wings may be adjustable such that the solar table may be maneuvered in height and pitch/roll/yaw angle into an installation instance before unloading. Such a capability of sideshft in combination of instance adjustment facilitates an installation process of the solar table.

Abstract: A clamp is described that couples a torque tube and at least one solar panel within a solar table. The clamp provides an efficient attachment when in a closed position that allows transportation of the solar table from a centralized assembly location to an installation point within a large-scale solar system. The clamp further provides an efficient process solar table mobile transport is described that moves a solar table to a point of installation. The clamp may be efficiently opened by personnel at the installation point to enable access to a section of the torque tube.

Abstract: In a large construction site, it can be very challenging to maintain precise installation for multiple piles. If the piles are not installed accurately, subsequent installation process may have to be changed, adjusted, or adapted due to the actual pile construction. Validating installed piles accurately is a very complex and laborious process. System and method embodiments of pile mapping and remediation are disclosed. Three dimensional scanning is used to establish a point cloud for each pile. The point cloud is used for calculating pile installation parameters, which are compared to designed parameters to determine parameter deviations and to generate remediation schemes, which may involve adjust subsequent installation markings or pile re-installation. The implementation of pile mapping and remediation facilitates an on-site installation process with improved efficiency.

Abstract: A system and method for threading a torque tube through an opening within a U-bolt and module rail device is described. The system and method provide aligned horizontal movement of the torque tube across an assembly frame resulting in the torque tube being threaded through a plurality of U-bolt and module rail devices. After the threading process is complete, the threaded U-bolt and module rail devices are secured in place on the torque tube to allow coupling of solar panels to the module rails.
