摘要： A keypad arrangement for an electronic device comprises a keypad comprising activatable keys. It comprises also input signal means (801, 802, 901, 1001, 1601) for bringing an electric input signal to the keypad, and signal conversion means (703, 705, 807, 808, 809, 810, 811, 812, 813, 818, 1208, 1206) for responding to a key activation by selectively converting the input signal into an electric output signal the value of which depends on the activated key. Additionally there are output signal detection means (902, 903, 904, 1002, 1602) for detecting the value of the electric output signal. The arrangement comprises a first electromagnetic coupling (706, 708, 709, 710, 803) between the input signal means and the signal conversion means, and a second electromagnetic coupling (707, 711, 804) between the signal conversion means and the output signal detection means.

摘要： A method and apparatus for increasing the intelligibility of speech signals received by mobile stations via adapting some of the acoustic parameters of speech in the frequency domain. The mobile station may have the capability to modify speech signal parameters to conform the speech signal to a listener's hearing profile. In an alternative embodiment, mobile station processing and battery power are conserved by the communication network having the capability to modify speech signal parameters to conform the speech signal to a listener's hearing profile. To conserve mobile station memory, the user's hearing profile may be stored on the network.

Each solar cell in the arrangement is partly or substantially transparent to electromagnetic fields, and the induction loop arrangement is supported in juxtaposition with the rear surface of the solar cell.

However, the portion is short enough to allow the plug element to contact the mobile terminal if the mobile terminal is equipped to handle the current carried by the plug element. According to an additional embodiment, the portion extending beyond the plug element will provide the smaller current if the smaller current is required.
