摘要: Corrosion resistant alloys in fluid ends to prolong the life of a well service pump. Methods of using such corrosion resistant alloys that provide a fluid end that has a corrosion resistant alloy having a fatigue limit greater than or equal to the tensile stress on the fluid end at maximum working pressure in the fluid end for an aqueous-based fluid; installing the fluid end in a well service pump; and pumping the aqueous-based fluid through the fluid end.

摘要: The present invention relates to the use of corrosion resistant alloys in fluid ends to prolong the life of a well service pump. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method of providing a fluid end that has a corrosion resistant alloy having a fatigue limit greater than or equal to the tensile stress on the fluid end at maximum working pressure in the fluid end for an aqueous-based fluid; installing the fluid end in a well service pump; and pumping the aqueous-based fluid through the fluid end.

摘要: A pump has a pump fluid end and a manifold that is detachable from the fluid end. A device is attachable to the pump, and has a manifold support beam portion adapted to affix to the pump fluid end at a location adjacent a manifold mating surface of the pump fluid end and extend outward from the pump fluid end. A support is provided on the manifold support beam portion that, when the manifold support beam portion is affixed to the fluid end of the pump, engages the manifold detached from the fluid end and supports the weight of the manifold.

摘要: A pump has a pump fluid end and a manifold that is detachable from the fluid end. A device is attachable to the pump, and has a manifold support beam portion adapted to affix to the pump fluid end at a location adjacent a manifold mating surface of the pump fluid end and extend outward from the pump fluid end. A support is provided on the manifold support beam portion that, when the manifold support beam portion is affixed to the fluid end of the pump, engages the manifold detached from the fluid end and supports the weight of the manifold.

摘要: A positive displacement pump comprising a lubricant manifold comprising a first fluid pathway, a housing comprising a second fluid pathway in fluid communication with the first pathway, a crosshead slide within the housing and comprising a third fluid pathway in fluid communication with the second pathway; a crosshead configured to reciprocate within the crosshead slide, the crosshead comprising a fourth fluid pathway in fluid communication with the third pathway, the crosshead further comprising a wrist-pin having a fifth fluid pathway in fluid communication with the fourth pathway, a crankshaft within the housing, and a connecting rod disposed between the crosshead and the crankshaft and connected thereto, wherein the connecting rod comprises a sixth fluid pathway displaced from the connecting rod centerline and in fluid communication with the fifth pathway, and wherein the crankshaft end of the connecting rod comprises a seventh fluid pathway in fluid communication with the sixth pathway.
