Abstract:
A membrane system comprising a membrane and connecting elements for connecting the membrane to a membrane pump for conveying a fluid, which membrane pump has a drive shaft designed for an oscillating translatory movement perpendicular to the plane of the membrane during operation of the membrane pump and has an external thread at an end portion for engagement with the membrane system by screwing. To ensure a secure and torque-proof connection between the membrane and the connecting element to be screwed to a drive shaft, the connecting elements comprise a threaded socket, a thrust ring and a thrust plate.

Abstract:
The arrangement is applied to a compressor which comprises: a crankcase, carrying a cylinder provided with a lateral slot and in which is housed a piston provided with two radial holes and with an eccentric axial hole; a connecting rod connected to a crankshaft driven by an electric motor and having a smaller eye mounted in the piston; and a wrist pin having a first end turned to the bearing hub of the crankcase, a second end turned to the lateral slot of the cylinder and a diametrical hole, adjacent to the second end in which is provided an engaging means, for the axial and rotational coupling of a tool for mounting and indexing the wrist pin, in the interior of the piston, in a position in which the diametrical hole is axially aligned with the eccentric axial hole, so as to allow an elastic pin to be introduced in said diametrical hole and in said eccentric axial hole.
Abstract:
A reciprocating piston engine which has a cylinder block, at least one combustion chamber arranged in the cylinder block and a liner which borders the combustion chamber and is composed of a first material is provided. In one example, the reciprocating piston engine comprises a reinforcing element composed of a second material for the radial reinforcement of the liner, said reinforcing element being arranged between the cylinder block and the liner and at least partially surrounding the liner, with the second material having a higher modulus of elasticity than the first material.
Abstract:
A progressive cavity pump comprising a casing, a helical stator including a helical cylinder and a helical rotor capable of rotating inside said helical cylinder. The helical stator also comprises at least one compensator arranged in said casing, between the casing and said helical cylinder; said helical cylinder and said compensator being deformable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the casing.
Abstract:
A coating solution that contains 10 to 20% by weight of epoxy resin serving as a thermosetting resin, 20 to 30% by weight of MoS2, and 5 to 10% by weight of graphite, with a remainder thereof constituted by an organic solvent, is sprayed onto a wrap portion side face of an orbiting scroll from a spray nozzle . While spraying the coating solution, the orbiting scroll is rotated on a rotating table and the spray nozzle is moved along a rectilinear movement path toward a radial direction outer side of the orbiting scroll while maintaining an attitude thereof from the start of the spraying process. After applying the coating solution, the coating solution is dried by baking, whereupon a break-in operation is performed. As a result, an elastic coating is formed at a coating thickness that enables elastic deformation in accordance with a clearance between the wrap portion side faces.
Abstract:
A compressor component incorporated into a compressor having a compressor body and a compressor pulley mechanism transmitting a driving force to the compressor body has an austenite grain with a grain size number falling within a range exceeding 10, a fracture stress value of at least 2650 MPa, or a hydrogen content of at most 0.5 ppm. This provides a compressor component and a compressor bearing with a long fatigue life, a high anti-crack strength, and a reduced secular dimensional variation.
Abstract:
The inventive stator includes a helical cavity component made from a material chosen to reinforce an elastomer liner deployed thereon. The contouring of the elastomer liner is asymmetrical, such that the elastomer liner is relatively thick on the loaded side of a lobe as compared to its thickness on the unloaded side of the lobe.
Abstract:
A pump drive apparatus comprises a housing (1) that accommodates a shaft (2) and a pump impeller (3). Both rotate around the same axis (4). The impeller rotates against the housing on at least one bearing (5). There is an eccentric journal (6) on the end of the shaft inside the impeller. The journal rotates in an orbital journal bearing (7). The orbital journal bearing moves in a circle within an eccentric bearing 14 on the impeller, driving the impeller. The orbital bearing tightly encloses the journal. A flexible component (9) prevents the orbital bearing from rotating in, and seals it off from, the housing.
